Lovely and colourful book, can become interactive using the masks included. I am sure that children will enjoy it!

The book itself is nothing special, but children love it, so, I suppose its excellent resource if you're doing the social and emotional teaching.

I LOVE this book. When I was in playschool it was a huge hit and now I am in a classroom with kiddos with special needs and it is still huge hit 6 months later. It has cute monster face cut outs. Simple, cute explanation of feelings.

Such a creative way to talk about the way you feel with kids

Conocía este libro en castellano y quería la versión en inglés ya que me gusta bastante y en general a los niños también les gusta. Se trata de un libro para trabajar las emociones, yo al contarlo modifico algo del vocabulario para hacerlo más reconocible por los niños (lo cuento a niños de hasta 7 años). Es atractivo tanto por los dibujos de los monstruos como por las caretas que te vas poniendo al contarlo (y que les encanta cuando pueden ellos manejar el libro y jugar con las caretas). Es sencillo de entender y además de trabajar las emociones se trabajan algunos colores. Puntos a favor: - Contenido del propio libro. - Las caretas de los monstruos con sus expresiones. Puntos a mejorar: - Las narices de las caretas se despegan con facilidad, hay que pegarlas.

Great book: simple explainations, colourful drawings, nice masks included and a special "pocket" to put them in. You can play along with the different masks while reading this book to your child and explaining the feelings. You can also teach older children the vocabulary for different facial expressions, feelings in english courses. Parfait pour enseigner aux enfants les différents mots ou expressions qui décrivent les sentiments (joie, peur, tristesse, amour...): avec l'aide des masques pour les plus petits (maternelles) et uniquement avec le support des textes (simples) pour les primaires.
