Yibuy Silver Brass #6 Nickel-plated E-flat Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece with Cap Ligature

This is ridiculously good at this price. This is a bright jazz/rock/funk style mouthpiece with a step baffle. I have the size 6, which is roughly .075 inch tip opening. Altissimo G and G sharp pop out (hardest notes on sax). The tip is super fine, as good as my jody jazz with a 25/1000ths inch tip, the tip and rails are even. This mouthpiece plays as good as my Vandoren Jumbo Java A35, and my Jody Jazz Jet 6 on all styles of music, on all ranges of the horn. In fact, it plays slightly better than the Jumbo Java down low. I plan to return both of those and keep this. Note: This and the JJ and Jet are all way better than the rico metallite. Don't bother with the metallite, buy this. At this price, it's a no brainer, just buy it already.

Decent quality mouthpiece for the cost. Had to file down the edges a bit as they were rather sharp, and the cap did not fit at all when there is a reed installed, had to cut it to make it fit, but it gives a nice bright sound.

Bought for son who has been playing over 3 yrs., since 2 plastic ones have warped with play or cracked. (And yes one of those was a Yamaha mouthpiece), thought maybe a metal one would last longer. He can't get more than a squeak out of it after double soaking the reed just to have it fit properly to the curve. Mentioned it at his lessons, and was told that he can't use a metal mouthpiece for band at school as it gives a brassier sound that won't work with the school level and just manage to irritate the band teachers.

Very nice bright and stable sound using 2.0 and 2.5 reeds by vandoren

I wanted to like this mouthpiece but it changing color around where my mouth made contact in only a few hours of playing gave me health concerns. The sound was good but having the baffle and the exterior turn color that I could not clean was disheartening. I chose to return the item.

It is one of the finest mouthpieces available at any price. It was hard to find a 6*, this one has a nicely milled baffle and chamber and is free blowing with a jazz edge. Hard to believe. It came as nicely packaged as an Otto Link, box and all. Incredible value.

I play in a rock cover band and this mouthpiece is exactly what I was looking for. Have been playing on a Yamaha 5C for many years, and although that piece is surprisingly good and covers lots of ground, I needed extra volume and cut with my rock band. This thing is the one. Don’t know if I just got lucky, as it seems the qc can vary looking at these comments. Has some rough spots inside the chamber, and isn’t finished as nice as a $400 piece, but you’re only pay a tiny fraction of that and it plays very well…maybe too well for this price. Intonation is spot on across all registers, the low notes speak well, tons of midrange, and tons of fun to play. If you want a straight-ahead mellow jazz mouthpiece, this ain’t it. If you wanna melt peoples faces off, look no further and try this.

Buena pueza para el precio no le pide nada a una berg larsen suena un poco mas fuerte y el brillo es bueno solo que si tu caña no esta muy humeda chilla demasiado y de vista es muy agradable probare un numero mas abierto para ver que sale esta 6 es super recomendable

音の出方がスムーズ ロングトーンもやり易い 音は硬質でクリアーな感じです 悪く言えば明るすぎるかな ツヤはないです リガチャーはダメですね リードを上手く保持しにくい 簡単にズレます 指でえい！っと力入れて曲げて使わざるを得ない 他の方は叩いて調整とありますが叩いてもリードの外径にマッチしていません キャップをつけるとリガチャーがずれるため使えません 音も出て吹き易いので練習用として持っていてもいいかもですが絶賛するほど良くはないです

ヤナギサワメタルを購入する前に、初めてのメタルマウスピースに慣れるためという大義名分のもと正直半信半疑で購入しましたが、驚くほど良く使えます。 個人的に、このクオリティなら値段があと3倍してもおかしくないと思いました。 ただ、気をつけないといけないのが、このマウスピースは（メタルマウスピース全般に言えることですが）ティップオープニング（マウスピース先端の開き具合）が大きいので、3か2(2/1)などの薄めのリードを使用することをお勧めします。 余談ですが、よく「上級者は厚いリードを使うものだ」みたいな意見がありますが、それは大きな間違いです。 ティップオープニングが大きければ薄いリード、小さければ厚いリードという風に、ティップオープニングの開き具合によって使うリードの厚さを変えるのが正しいのです。 あと、もう一つ気をつけないといけないのが、付属のリガチャーが少し粗悪なところです。メタルマウスピース用のリガチャーを別途購入する方が良いと思います（もちろん付属のものでも使えなくはないですが）。 マウスピース自体はもう全然問題ないですが、リガチャーのみ少し残念だったので、星4とさせて頂きます。
