Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was new to video doorbells, so I reviewed lots of video doorbell products online and bought another brand for my alley entrance to my condo. After a few weeks, I decided I wanted another for my front door but wanted to try a different brand and chose Aosu. I’m so glad I did! The Aosu is better in several ways: the picture is clear and gives me a wider view. I did not want to hard wire anydoorbells, so I chose models with a rechargeable battery, and the charge on this product’s battery lasts three times longer than the one I have at my alley entrance. Additionally, this model can use an SD card to record videos which means I don’t need to sign up for an icloud service. Lastly, the app is easy to install and has many helpful features. I plan on replacing the first video doorbell I bought with another Aosu, similar to this one soon. I’m very happy with the quality for the price I paid! . Highly recommend! Picture quality: Excellent Clarity: Amazing clarity on facial features Features: Easy to use app, accepts SD card, long battery life, easy to install Quality: High quality pics and app. Looks nice on wall Security: Even has a package notification!

I’ve been using a motion-recording doorbell for over 10 years and started getting fed up with the fees. When the doorbell needed to be replaced I looked for an alternative. I have been using my AOSU doorbell for over a month and so far it's been fantastic. It's very easy to charge the battery and it lasts for a long while. It records every time there’s movement near my door, and the video quality is really clear, even at night. I like that it saves everything on the SD card instead of making me pay for a subscription like some other brands do. This doorbell was very easy to install as it required no wiring. It also was very easy to hook up to my Wi-Fi and started working immediately. As a wheelchair user, it makes it very easy for me to see who's at the door and communicate as well. It also provides me with safety when I'm coming in and out of the house. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I’ve been really impressed with the AOSU Wireless Doorbell Camera. The video quality is very clear, and the head-to-toe view makes it easy to see people and packages at the door. Motion detection is accurate and doesn’t send too many false alerts. Setup was simple, the Wi-Fi connection is stable, and the included chime works great. I also like that it gives both local storage and cloud options. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-built doorbell camera for the price.

I seriously can’t recommend AOSU cameras enough. After trying Blink (which was expensive, had terrible battery life, and the camera view honestly wasn’t good), switching to AOSU was the best decision I made. The video quality is amazing, the camera view is clear and wide, and the battery lasts way longer. Setup was simple, and everything just works the way it should. What really impressed me most was the customer support. Cora was incredibly helpful, and the entire AOSU team is super responsive and fast. You can tell they actually care about their customers, which is rare these days. I wasted money with Blink—AOSU is better, easier to use, and way more reliable. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This is hands down the best camera I’ve tried. 💯 Highly recommend! 👏

I'm really happy about how this is working. I simply put in a MICRO SD card rather than use a cloud subscription. I originally expected to use an SD card that I already had, but bought a good sized brand name micro SD after I received the doorbell and wound up spending about $50 on it. Video is clear, works well even at night, records when any person enters the view and doesn't get triggered by things like bugs or far away objects (and sensitivities can be set). The app is easy to use and the notifications and ringing on my phone (which I set) are working great. People don't hear me well when I speak through it sometimes so remember to set the volume high if you're using that. It even has a voice modulator which makes me sound like a male which is great. If someone rings the doorbell then when I answer the call, it's only voice when you answer so you need to manually open the app to see the video so I've got to remember that, but if you touch the notification that someone is there (I have this set all the time), then it goes straight to the video. It's really a great change in how safe I have felt since I have moved in recently and even had a porch pirate steal a package already, and my door isn't strong enough for a bar/chain lock that lets you peak out Plus then they can tell you are there, and if you're not there, the doorbell wouldn't get an answer so they may easily figure out that you are not there. When I talk through this doorbell with someone, they don't know whether I'm home or not. But somehow when I was looking at this online, I had the impression that I would only need to charge this 1-2 per year. I don't know if that is in the product info or if I was just mistaken, but I have had to charge it about every 1.5 months. And it does warn you when you watch the live video for a while that it uses a lot of battery power and prompts you to stop. I do look at all the videos and get packages often and my neighbours trigger it too, so I am may use more power than average, but had I known how often I would be charging it, I may have thought more about getting one that can be wired in the electrical system of the home instead of a rechargeable one. But it is easy to see how much charge is left on the app. Only taking a star off for having to charge often and having to buy an micro SD on top of the cost. Tip: don't install it against something on top (mine was up against the regular doorbell of my home in order to get the right height recommended. It will be hard to pop it out of the holder because you need to start higher and slide it in and you need to slide it up a litle first to get it out. There was no warning in the installation instructions about this. I used screws and I should have placed it half an inch down. Luckily unscrewing the original doorbell plate allowed me to get it in and I can charge it in place with my outdoor outlet. The bonus of this is that I don't worry about a thief just popping out the unit to make it easier to steal packages. One stole a sign that I made for delivery drivers so I could see them figuring out how to remove these.
