Bought last year as a backup. Placed in use recently. What a disappointment. Colors are spotty and very bland and washed out. Even making saturation and other adjustments to the printer make no difference. I have been buying non-HP cartridges over the years for several HP printers. These are the absolute WORST. I definitely DO NOT recommend these

I print a lot of different promotional materials on my ancient HP LaserJet Pro, and I go through toner very quickly as my work includes a lot of images. The cost really adds up, especially using HP toner. However, I've not had great luck with off-brand toner. I tried it a few times in the past and the print quality wasn't great. It seemed to gum up my printer and it took a while of going back to the expensive stuff before it printed normally again. Took me a few years to forget what a hassle that was and get the nerve up to try an alternate brand again. I've only changed one cartridge so far (magenta) and it's printing exactly as the HP that I took out did. Sometimes the printer has a conniption if I install non-HP toner, but it didn't seem to notice this time which was nice. For now I'm giving it 5 stars, and I'll report back after I've installed the other colors and can confirm that they work as well as the magenta.

I used to work with HP and I know the amount of technology that they put into their toners. It comes down to the size, shape and layer ability of the toner particles. I will continue to say that I believe the OEM cartridges are the best for any printer manufacturer. That said, these toner cartridges have performed pretty well so far. You may need to override the settings in the printer, because it WILL get a warning/error message that you are not using an approved OEM toner cartridge in your printer. Once you do that, they will work. As far as print quality goes, these do a decent job. Not as "crisp and clean" as the OEM cartridges, but good enough for everyday color printing which most people will be doing. If you are printing photographs/brochures/marketing materials and want the best quality, I would stick with the OEM cartridges, but if you are printing spreadsheets, basic everyday stuff that you want in color, these work just fine for me. Bottom line? In my opinion, these are fine for typical everyday printing, but not great for high quality printing. If you fit into that category, the cost savings is well worth it.

Got this replacement 305A cartridges to replace my much more expensive HP ones. I was impressed with the quality and performance. They work just as well as HP at a fraction of the cost. Print quality is great with vibrant colors. Just installed last week so cannot comment on longevity but I expect it will last a long time. Great value for the money and compatibility is excellent.
