Whether it did any good I don't know, but I didn't feel any difference. However the worst thing it went all thick and jelly like within seconds of mixing it. In this case with orange squash as the taste borders on the unpleasant.

This is an OK product if you are looking for a gentle alternative to assist with digestion and constipation ailments. However is it worth the price in comparison to similar counterparts, No, I don't think this is. I have deliberately waited to write this review after taking this soluble powder supplement for a few days, and yes it certainly helps with bloating and digestion, but the taste is unpleasant, which only hinders the process of swallowing this, however, you choose to mix it. Consistency is the plan here though, and this definitely makes ( me ) feel full and slows down my digestion, but to be honest, the taste of this does put me off my food a little. Regular bowel movements... still early days, but things are moving, so I'm hopeful that this will help maintain my daily rhythm... I will continue to use this daily, despite the taste, in the hope that my gut health will improve. To conclude this is a good quality product and a decent way to up your fibre intake, it works pretty quickly, and effectively in different ways, depending on your body, so for this, I am giving 4 stars, and I recommend this to anyone who is considering an alternative way to up their fibre intake. Definitely not for me. It was a struggle to blend powder and liquid to form a drinkable solution - all that could be achieved was an unpleasant-looking sludge. I also found the smell and flavour of mint off-putting - mint really doesn't work in this product. A shame to have to throw £20 in the bin, which is where this fibre supplement ended up.

Not pleasant didn’t help and expensive.

Been taking this for a few months while on a diet and trying to reduce my cholesterol levels. I'd like to continue taking it indefinitely but it's too expensive. It says eight servings on the packet, I get a lot more than that with a teaspoon at a time, but will eventually try something cheaper.

This product has a good amount of fibre, and I tried it instead of my usual soluble fibre. The comparisons for me are pretty clear: Quantity of fibre: Both this product and my regular product deliver the same fibre per-dose. Quality: Both products are equal in quality. Value: Similar value - both products give me around 1 month supply for the same cost. So- why won't I be switching from my regular brand to HappyBowel? Quite simply because this product in my opinion is not soluble! My usual brand is a fine white powder which is pretty much invisible in drinks, foods, etc. when used. It has little or no flavour, and dissolves to nothing. This HappyBowel brand is quite coarse, and when added to a drink it acts like moisture absorbing crystals, and swells up into a jelly-like porridge consistency which is pretty unpleasant. Furthermore, it has a distinct taste that I don't like either. Although the benefits are good, and there's a lot of great qualities about this product, for me it's just not enjoyable or easy to take. I will stick to my regular brand which is virtually undetectable in foods and drinks.
