Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) Wireless or Wired - 1-Cam + Chime

I’ve been really happy with this video doorbell so far. The setup was straightforward, and I love being able to see who is at the door directly from my phone. The video quality is clear, and the wide view makes it easy to see both visitors and packages near the door. The Chime is also a nice addition because I can easily hear when someone rings the doorbell even when my phone isn’t nearby. Overall, it’s a great upgrade for our front door and makes me feel more comfortable knowing I can check what’s happening outside anytime.

This video doorbell is very good. The quality of the image and the sound is great. The application is very easy to use. It's easy to install at home, you just need simple tools. It connects quickly to the Wi-Fi network. The battery lasts for many days. The app is easy to use. The chime is also very good and I love that you ask to change the sounds in the app. I definitely recommend it and I would buy it again because the value corresponds to the quality.

The Arlo Doorbell Camera has quickly become one of my favorite home security devices. The video quality is clear, the wide-angle view gives me a great look at my entire front door area, and the motion alerts are very helpful. My favorite feature is the doorbell phone-call notification. When someone is at the door, the app actually calls my phone like a regular phone call and keeps ringing until I answer or decline it. When I answer, it immediately takes me to the doorbell camera so I can see who is there and even speak to them through the two-way audio. I love this because I’m much less likely to miss someone at my door, even when I’m not actively checking the app. Overall, it’s convenient, reliable, and gives me extra peace of mind.

I don’t write reviews but this one piss me the hell off!!!!!!! I’m furious!!!!!! This door cam is a waste of time and money. This cam do not detect motion at alllllllllll persons come and leave things on my porch and I gets no notification of someone entering my yard let alone being by my door. The only way I gets a notification is if someone ring the door cam that defeats the purpose of having a door cam. The only way I can see who’s in my yard is if I’m viewing live!!!! I did not purchase this cam to be at work and watching live all day!! If someone enters the yard or my door I gets nooooooo notification or a video recording the motion or watever is happening. I had a ring cam at my other home and that does the job but I said let me switch it up and this was the biggest mistake ever. The app is annoying and not user friendly. Speaking to someone through the door cam is horrible you might as well just open the door and speak to them one time smh this cam really isn’t it it defeats the purpose of a door cam. I played with this for two days now and I’ve gotten no where I’m pissed! Motion detection- horrible, the door cam from SHEIN does a better job.

Occasionally there can be a slight delay before the alert shows up on my phone. Faster and more consistent notifications would make the experience even better.

Setup was pretty simple, and I also like that it comes with the separate Chime 2 so I can hear the doorbell inside the house without always relying on my phone. The app is easy to use and gives you plenty of options for customizing alerts and activity zones. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the features I’d actually want to use regularly, like the more advanced detection and video history, require a paid Arlo Secure plan after the trial. I wish a little more was included without a subscription. Other than that, it’s been a solid doorbell camera with great picture quality and features.

The Arlo Video Doorbell 2K has been a great addition to our home. The video is clear, the alerts come through quickly, and I really love the two-way audio. It’s nice being able to see who’s at the door and talk to them right from my phone. Setup was the frustrating part for me. Getting it connected to our Wi-Fi took several hours, and I’m still having trouble getting the chime connected. Arlo customer support has been great though and very easy to communicate with while I’ve been working through it. I’m happy with the doorbell itself and all of the features. I just wish getting everything connected had been a little easier.

Even though I bought this from the Australian site it arrived with a US plug. So you would need to have a place to have the chime where you can plug it in with an adapter. And they also don't include an adapter so that is an extra expense making it not a very good price on this site.
