Nice Dunhill Lift Arm type lighter
Very cool dunhill type lighter. The lift arm functions perfect almost every time. I've had one bad close out of about 30 so far. The match function is OK, you have to scrape away a bit before it'll spark. Easy to light one handed, and fits on your hand nicely. Definitely worth the price especially if you don't want to dish out real vintage money for a similar type. Seems to hold fluid well, comes with some spare parts, extra wick, flint, etc. Was able to get an old zippo working with the extra parts which was nice. The finish is very nice as well. My only wish is there was a variant without the match, or a way to plug it and do without, but regardless it's quite nice, especially for the price.

Looks good, functions well. Read the review for necessary tips.
This Is a neat little lighter. The flints that come with work really well. I had some name brands just in case. There are two things that people’s really should adhere to make this lighter/ permanent match work to its fullest. 1. Use a quality lighter fluid. I tried the kerosene oil. Same as you’d put in those hurricane store oil lamps in. It was to hard to light the lighter and I couldn’t get the match to start in its own. 2. When it comes to the permanent match and lighting it. You need to go slower than you’d think with the strike. The match head will out run the sparks if you go to fast and it won’t light. The paper that it came with did say go at an angle and go slow. That’s exactly what needs to be done. With a premium lighter fluid and the going slow with the match it takes me no more than 2 strikes to get the lighter and the match lite. It does take s as little patience at first, if you don’t have patience this is not for you. If you do this lighter will come in handy, for me it sights on my dresser next to candles and some hippie incense that I like to burn. Oh btw the fluid will evaporate and not light after 3-4 days I’ve noticed. I put about 1’/3 full maybe more and that seems to work for me.

Great lighter
This lighter is pretty cool, but I’ve heard some folks grumble about the fuel leaking from the seams. I haven’t had any trouble with that, though. It works great, easy to fill and replace the wicks and flint. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the forever match takes a bit to catch fire.

Perfect
Beautiful, steampunk vibe, great gift for anyone who smokes a pipe or cigars. Excellent quality, durable, works as advertised. Great value for the money. Great for a guy who has everything.

Lighters good match not so much
Well the lighter works just fine. I got it though for the fancyness of the match. While it produces a substantial spark i have yet to have it catch a flame. Lol maybe the spark would work for some outdoor survival type situation but I wanted an actual flame to go with it. Wouldn't filling the part u slide the match in with lighter fluid cause the whole match to set on fire ?? Seems dangerous if that's the case. There's no instructions on how to get the wick on the match to be saturated in lighter fluid or if that's even what ur supposed to do. Directions pretty much suck. I may return this item....

Super great for the price but something wasn’t thought out
A bit smaller then I expected but not to any detriment. Works well and has a nice weight with a nice quality and should come with instructions. it’s work though it does have a a quite sizable design flaw. It is easy to spill. Where the reusable match goes is where you fill it so the other reviews about “it leaking every where’s and catching stuff on fire” is due to when you go to strike the match you jostle the container which will spill and obviously light. Just don’t fill it all the way up for that reason and to leave room for the match.

Great look, poor performance
I love the look of it, but functionally it's just about useless. I've had it for a little over 2 months now, and it's been able to light maybe 3 times. Sometimes the flint will create a great spark but the wick doesn't catch, most of the time the flint won't even produce a spark. I've tried tightening and loosening the knob that holds the spring pressing the striker rod against the flint wheel, and both actions have had mixed success at producing a consistent spark. The match is interesting, it can pretty consistently produce a good spark, but it literally only actually produced a flame today for the first time. I really want to like this lighter, but it's really just become a paperweight/shelf decoration. If anyone has any recommendations for making it work, I'd love to know.

A simply fantastic lighter
My first and likely last lighter as long as I don't lose it. It's great, very good looking and does what it's meant to do. The permanent match has gotten me out of a few pickles now. It can hold quite a lot of fluid so don't be too afraid of over filling it. I think I was sat there 3 minutes just filling this thing and it still wasn't full.
