19" Reading Pillow for Bed with Firm Back Support & Big Pockets

I bought this back pillow for my mom so she wouldn’t be laying flat in bed all day, and it has made such a difference. It gives her the support she needs to sit up comfortably for longer periods, whether she’s watching TV, reading, or just relaxing. The pillow is firm enough to provide good back support but still comfortable, and it helps keep her in a better position without constantly readjusting. I’ve noticed she seems much more comfortable throughout the day, which was exactly what I was hoping for. If you’re caring for a parent or loved one who spends a lot of time in bed, this is definitely worth getting. It’s simple, but very helpful. It’s easy to adjust to make her comfortable. It came in air sealed packaging so it just inflated out of the box.

Very good quality. Sturdy. Nice to have removable arm rests. Arm rests stay put very well with the wrap around fabric piece and additional Velcro on the sides. Side pockets are nice. Nice, dense foam material. I think this will hold up well. Comfortable for a semi-reclined position. This will not work if you need a straight up seated position.

This reading pillow is very comfortable and lightweight, the foam is soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to give good support. The armrests are a great feature, they're detachable with velcro and they have big pockets on each side to hold a tablet, phone, etc. The headrest pillow at the top can be adjusted a few inches up or down as needed, or even set over the top of the reading pillow if you don't want to use it. The product arrives vacuum compressed but it's easy to set up and use, only took 30-60 seconds for it to expand to full size once removed from the packaging. It seems to retain its shape well, although I've only had it for a day. There's a slight chemical odor but probably will go away with time. For reference, I'm 6 foot 3 inches tall with a medium build and ordered the large size for people above 5'10". This size fits great for me, there's around 1-2" extra room on each side and the headrest pillow is right behind the back of my head (base of the skull).

I found this pillow to be comfortable and very supportive. The foam is on the firmer side, which I actually prefer because it provides good back support while sitting up in bed. The removable neck pillow is a nice feature since you can reposition it to better fit your neck. That said, it's definitely not a one-size-fits-all design. I can understand why some reviewers found it uncomfortable, as everyone's body shape and posture are different. In my case, after adding a couple of small pillows and adjusting the neck cushion, I was able to find a very comfortable position. If the fit doesn't feel perfect at first, try making a few adjustments before giving up on it. With a little customization, it can be very comfortable and supportive. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a firm reading pillow, as long as they don't mind taking a little time to find the setup that works best for them.

i bought this pillow in pink. first of all, this one is the perfect pink to match my bedding. when i first tried it out, i thought .. i don't know how this is going to work for me. i felt like i was too far back for just being in bed to watch tv or to read. it felt too big. so i used my bed pillows to prop myself up more forward or in a more upright position and that helped out a lot. and i also use this too sleep in, for medical reasons as to having to sleep upright. and that was okay for the time being. and now that i have removed the pillows and you can tell a huge difference and honestly, it is comfortable for me to relax. and with your favorite pillow, it offers great back support. but, without your pillow .. you are not feeling as supported. but it is very comfortable. well, it is for me. this may not be for you if you are looking for something that don't allow you to sink in. i honestly do love this special pillow and that is why i am giving it 5 stars.

It seems like it's made well enough and pops right up to a good size and stability. The issue is that it's just not a comfortable shape at all. It needs a little curvature to it or something, but you're better off skipping this one and using a couple normal pillows. Edit: After posting my review, the seller reached out and apologized for the pillow not meeting my expectations and offered to refund my order (while allowing me to keep the pillow). They made it clear they didn't expect anything from me in return, but I felt that they earned an extra star simply for great customer service, so I adjusted my rating from 2 to 3 stars.

Perfect for sitting in bed!

This purchase was absolutely worth it. It is VERY comfortable, and is great for nursing. The back and arm rest pillows are firm enough to give good support for my back and arms. I can now nurse my baby from my bed without straining my muscles. The removable arm rests is a practical feature, especially if you are sharing a bed. Finally, I LOVE the pockets on this product. I can store my phone, glasses, and Nintendo switch in there. This is a great item for any new mother or anyone who must spend a lot of time in bed. My only wish is that there was a cup holder.
