First impressions of Tesmen Smart Multimeter TM-510 :- 1. Nicely packaged. Not what I expected of a buget price smart multimeter. 2. Quality Duracell 2 x AAA batteries shrink sealed. Once again I didn't expect higher spec batteries. Another pleasant surprise. 3. User Manual supplied. Instructions and functionality are simple and strsightforward. 4. Display is clear and easy to read. With screen backlight that can be switched on/off 5. LED backlight is useful to identify cables in poor lighting conditions. 6. Nice bag for Multimeter and probes The User Manual does fit snugly inside the bag and offers additional protection for the multimeter. 7. NB the red and black probes have tight fitting dust cover plugs that need to be prized-off. (I managed to remove them using a thumb-nail) Conclusion:- Whats not to like about this multimeter?Value for money. One of my best-buys. 👍

Fantastic cheap multimeter. Does everything you expect and more. Its accurate, has a large screen, capable of doing everything a meter costing 2×/3×/4× the price of this one. The only downside is that it should be rechargeable via USB C, but you can't have everything for 35 quid can you?

I absolutely love this multimeter for so many reasons. Very small and so easy to use.

I wanted a small cheap meter primarily to monitor domestic AV voltage fluctuation. Already have a 20 year old Fluke 189 but that is rather cumbersome to carry around for quick tests. Pros Small and light, carry case a plus Easy to use, measures AC voltage and DC voltages up to 600V (see comments below on resistance measurement) Compared side to side with the Fluke measuring AC 230V voltage, readings appear close, within 1V Cons The meter always appears to be in AUTO mode, ie no manual setting, so no way to no way to choose whether to measure voltage or resistance Minimum AC/DC voltage that can be measured is 0.8V If the meter detects a resistance less than 50 ohms it switches to measure continuity, effectively you can't measure resistance less than 50 ohm (last points make it not ideal things like hobby electronics, electronic circuit testing) The Duracell batteries are not marked AAA, although they are stamped as made in China so this could be normal. Be aware however there are lots of fake Duracell batteries around, many from well known retailers, fakes have a reputation for leaking and damaging the gear they are in (so suggest to check the condition of batteries from time to time) All in all, however, for the price, it does exactly what I wanted it for, hence the 5 star.

A perfect diy meter for home. great value for money, excellent display and the auto function for detecting what I am testing works perfectly for the basic tests I need. The torch is a nice feature but I will probably rarely use it but everything else is great, even the cable are about the perfect length, not too long to be messy but not too short to be hard to use.

Dandy little meter. Many have said you can't set the meter selection - but on mine you sure can. Comes with a rubber boot, built in light, analog style bar graph to help determine what you're reading, and non contact voltage tester. For the price it is awesome. I've bought several to have around the house and keep in the tool kit.

Excellent multimeter with wide range of functions.

J'utilisais jusqu'ici un multimètre d'entrée de gamme limité à la tension AC/DC, la résistance et la continuité. Le TSM-599 change complètement la donne, et la différence se ressent dès la première utilisation. Premier détail qui surprend agréablement : des cercles lumineux s'allument autour des connecteurs pour indiquer exactement où brancher les sondes selon la mesure sélectionnée. Anodin sur le papier, mais en pratique c'est vraiment utile, surtout dans les situations où on manipule rapidement. Le mode automatique est impeccable — il détecte la mesure et change de gamme seul sans manipulation. Le TRUE RMS 6000 comptes garantit une précision réelle sur les signaux AC non sinusoïdaux, là où un multimètre basique moyen peut donner des valeurs erronées. L'écran couleur avec bargraph analogique est lisible et agréable, bien supérieur aux afficheurs classiques. Le NCV est nettement plus précis que ce que j'avais avant : 3 LEDs progressives au lieu d'une seule, la détection sur une prise secteur est immédiate et fiable. La sonde thermique fournie est un vrai plus — je l'utilise pour surveiller des composants électroniques et des ports USB-C en charge. Les fonctions capacité, fréquence/duty cycle et test de diodes complètent un ensemble vraiment polyvalent. Seul bémol : il fonctionne sur 4 piles AAA. Elles sont fournies en Duracell, ce qui est appréciable, mais une batterie intégrée rechargeable aurait été un plus indéniable à ce prix. Pour 37€, le contenu reste généreux : housse de transport, housse caoutchouc avec béquille intégrée, sonde thermique et piles incluses. Un excellent multimètre polyvalent, avec sa housse fournie, c'est excellent !
