Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Vol. 26 (light novel) (Volume 26) : Nagatsuki, Tappei, Otsuka, Shinichirou: desertcart.ae: Books Review: Top Review: I was excited to see what was going to happen next after the end of the last volume and Rem waking up. At first I was pretty upset with how Rem and Subaru got along, but it was later explained and it was almost a redo of a sort. Back to the original way Rem was towards Subaru back in the initial volumes. I was annoyed with how Subaru handled certain situations with Rem, but I loved his growth. He has grown and it is nice seeing him being able to take care of himself to a degree and be helpful. Actual character growth and I like the call backs the author makes to remind us of why he is the way he is now. It was nice to have Rem back and remember how overpowered she can be and how resourceful she is. It will be interesting to see based on how the book ends if she slowly regains her memories. I have a theory on why Greed is there, but I will unfortunately have to wait till May to continue this amazing story. This volume did not disappoint and I did enjoy the introduction of a new male character and the tribe inspired by desertcart forest. It is a nice sense of diversity that is refreshing to see and I love how he brings every culture and group alive in his works. This is definitely worth the pick up if you have read the other volumes.
