I use this in my garage at night. Believe or not criminals can get into your locked garage. This little beauty can scare them away. I highly recommend this unit. Beware that your dog or cat can activate this unit.

I purchased 4 of these. A couple for camp and a couple for my garages. They work pretty good. They have about a 6 - 8 foot distance so it's better to put them close and facing the door. If you put them on a far wall they might not pick up movement.

I really like this alarm; it’s loud enough to startle someone and surely would deter a would be burglary, which was the purpose of this purchase. Alarm is setup in my garage on the electric outlet closest to the entrance door to my home. The sensor triggers at the far end at the overhead garage door. So, VERY PLEASED with sensor, lighting, loudness and range. The alarm was easy to setup - BUT, if device is unplugged or you have an electric interruption you will have to reset your code and lights (if blinking lights are desired). Suggest you keep the instructions handy. Cost of item was reasonable - Functionally, it serves its purpose. I will review again if anything changes. Suggest you Warranty the item with the manufacturer; they offered a 5 year warranty never asking for my review; they simply asked if I was please with the purchase. I did this because I like the product and would recommend.
