Solid hydration, does what it says
Been using Free Soul Hydrate for a few day and it's become a staple when camping. The citrus flavour is tangy and pretty salty, but that's expected given the 1000mg sodium per sachet, if you're after proper hydration rather than a sugary drink, that's the trade-off. Mixes well in 500ml-1L of cold water with no clumping, and I like that it's zero sugar with no artificial sweeteners. Noticeably less sluggish after being active since starting, and it's handy for days I know I won't hit my water intake otherwise. Only downsides are the price compared to some other brands, and the taste won't be for everyone if you're not used to electrolyte drinks. Would recommend if you want a well-formulated option and don't mind the salty citrus kick.

Great electrolyte sticks
I love FreeSoul products, and these hydration sticks were great for marathon training. Dissolved and mixed really easily in water (even mid-run), and were easy to digest. Good value for money and loved the individual sticks making them so portable. There definitely is a fruity flavour, but as you’d expect from electrolytes there is quite a salty tang!

Daughter thinks they’re ok but extremely salty

Effective hydration
Very salty-tasting compared to some, however it has a higher salt content than most. Really helps with hydration in this hot weather. I would recommend 750ml water minimum to dissolve it in. An enjoyable range of flavours and dissolves quickly.

Waaay too salty!
I tried the 1st sachet in 750ml water and it was unbearable to drink. Tried a 2nd to see if a diferent flavour would be better and diluted it in more water(1l). Just unable to drink this. I advise against buying this if you don't like the taste of aspartame or whatever sweetener is in this. It's drinking salt water basically. I get that that's what electrolytes are but this is just not nice.

Best electrolytes I’ve had
I had a prolonged period of illness and was feeling very weak and dehydrated. Drinking a lot of water didn’t help and I couldn’t really eat. I desperately googled how to feel better and stumbled down a rabbit hole of electrolyte information. I’ve taken electrolytes in the past and haven’t loved the taste so I was sceptical. I ordered these after reading some reviews - and honestly, I’m so glad I did. I’ll never use another brand now. I absolutely love the taste of these! Yes, they are a bit salty like others have mentioned, but not at all in an unpleasant way. I love the taste. It’s almost like you can taste the electrolytes rehydrating your body! I took one sachet a day for three days, and after the second day, I was pretty much back to normal. Don’t have them everyday unless you really need to (intensive exercise, excessive night sweats for whatever reason), but I have them fairly often and actually look forward to having them now! I have a 1L flask I fill with water and mix in a sachet, and for me that’s the perfect amount to get the right taste. Thank you Free Soul - I love these!

Keeping hydrated
Bought this to keep myself hydrated while taking a GLP1. I've seen LMNT electrolytes being recommended by Americans as it's meant to be the best brand out there but I couldn't justify the cost of it. Ive heard of Free Soul for PCOS supplements but didn't know they also did electrolytes so I when saw the ads for this product I looked into it. It has a pleasant taste. As others have said it is salty but that's the point I guess if you're trying to stay hydrated. I'm not a big fan of the Stevia in it but LMNT has it so I settled. I thought about making my own with sugar and salt in water but it has all these extra minerals and vitamins which is helpful as I'm not always great at remembering to take my multi vitamins. It's easy to use as theyre little sachets which you just tear open. The smell is pleasant like the taste. The sachet can be added to 400ml-1L which is a good size as a typical reusable water bottle is around 500ml so I'll typically refill my water a bit with the powder in it still to keep the benefits of the electrolytes. I'll typically use one every other day so that it lasts a little longer and I get the best value for money. I paid around £30 which is a bit much to use it every day but compared to other brands I'm happy to pay for a product which is good quality and has good ingredients. Would be nice if they did more flavours as i would definitely try them (like LMNT does)
