CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask: Series 2

At 52, with post-menopausal skin and noticeable loss of elasticity, I’m very selective about what I use and what I continue using long term. I’ve been consistent with LED therapy for years and have used both handheld devices and the Omnilux Contour Face, so I went into the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask Series 2 with a clear point of comparison. This is, without question, an upgrade. What immediately sets this apart is the coverage. It extends further down over the jawline and chin, which is critical for mature skin where laxity tends to show first. That added coverage makes it feel like a more complete treatment rather than focusing only on the center of the face. The build quality is also noticeably better. This mask feels more structured and durable than others I’ve used, including softer silicone styles. It holds its shape well and sits securely on the face without slipping or collapsing, which makes the entire experience feel more stable and higher quality. That sturdiness translates directly into comfort because you’re not constantly adjusting it during use. Beyond that, the technology itself is more advanced. This mask uses multiple wavelengths, including red and near-infrared light, which work at different depths within the skin. Over time, this supports firmness and overall skin quality in a way that feels more comprehensive than single-level treatments. Comfort was another surprise. I had read that this mask might be less comfortable, but I found the opposite to be true. It feels secure, well-balanced, and easy to wear for the full treatment time. The addition of the eye pads is a thoughtful detail that makes a real difference. The light is less intense on the eyes, which makes the experience much more relaxing. In terms of skin response, this integrates very well into an existing routine. My skin feels calm, balanced, and noticeably more supple after use. While this isn’t a “hydrating” product in the traditional sense, I do find that my skin holds hydration better and looks more refreshed and smooth, especially when used consistently alongside serums and moisturizers. Compared to handheld devices, this is significantly more effective simply because it delivers even, hands-free coverage. And compared to Omnilux, it feels more refined, more complete, and better designed for real, consistent use. Overall, this feels like a next-generation LED mask. The improved coverage, more advanced light technology, sturdier construction, and enhanced comfort all come together in a way that makes it not just better, but more practical for long-term use—especially for mature skin focused on firmness, brightness, and elasticity. I’ve been so impressed with this that I’ve already decided to add the neck and décolletage version as well, which feels like the natural next step for a more complete treatment.

I know there is a lot of controversy about these LED masks, with some saying it works, and others saying it's a waste of money. After having a few friends confirm good results, I decided to give it a try, and came to Currentbody as one of the more respected versions on the market. I've been on the weight loss drugs now for 6 months, and while I love the results, I am starting to see the "ozempic face" that people have been talking about. Since using this mask, I have absolutely seen a positive difference in some of the sagging in my face. It's subtle, but I see it, and believe me I was skeptical. It's also helped tone down some of the redness in my face, and I do notice an improvement in texture. This is not a face lift, and I don't think we should expect miracles, but if you're looking for some improvement in your skin on a fairly noticeable basis, I think this mask delivers. Overall I'm glad I made the investment and am pretty happy with the results. Please note that results do take dedication and time. I've used the mask every day for 6 weeks before I noticed any changes. It's only 10 minutes, so easy to incorporate into your routine. Give it a try for sure!

Although it took awhile to finally get through to them they resolved the issue for me and replaced my device. That being said, their customer service was incredible. At one point I had accidentally placed my charger to my other current body device (neck and chest) in the return Package, I reached out asking them when they receive it if they could return it to me. I thought for sure this would be a nearly impossible and tedious request, but Inwas completely wrong. They addressed it immediately and made sure to keep me with updates regarding the item that was accidentally sent. I had it back within days. Thank you Current Body!!!! I am sickened that after just owning this item for a mere six weeks and spending over 400.00 for this item, it literally just stopped working. After trying to figure out how to remedy this issue (since I purchased on here), I have read about LOTS of other people who had the same problem. What makes it worse, is that it appears to be true what they say. I have contacted this company several days ago (they only provide you the option to email them), and no return response……not even a confirmation that they have received my inquiry, or implied that they will get back to me on this issue. I am hoping that I can get this resolved, because quite frankly, I’m sick that I basically threw over 400.00 out the window.

I found this mask extremely uncomfortable. The eye piece didn’t attach well, and the mask was so heavy and the strap so cheaply made that you couldn’t walk around or do tasks while wearing it. It required lying down, yet still felt uncomfortable around the eyes. After trying a few times, I returned it within the window, but the company deducted a heavy damage fee of 117 dollars, claiming it was “unsellable,” which was untrue, as the product was intact. I had to open a dispute on Amazon just to attempt to recover the rest. I do not recommend this mask. It’s overpriced, uncomfortable, and you can find better options. Moreover, the company’s handling of returns and fees was simply unfair.

I use this nightly and have seven improvement in the wrinkles on my face.

I ordered this led light therapy mask because I had been gifted a less expensive one and had been using it regularly for about 6 weeks and hadn’t noticed any changes. But with this one I can literally feel something in my face, like a tightening feeling, right after taking it off. I’ve only had it for about two weeks and I can’t stop looking in the mirror. I’m shocked by how much younger my face is looking. It is flexible, lightweight and comfortable to wear. I like that there aren’t a bunch of controls where I need to figure out what setting to use. I just put it on and push the on button and wait 10 minutes. The straps keep it in place well. I could walk around while using it if I wanted to.

Let’s start with the pros: Love the simple design of the mask and that I just have 1 button to push on the remote. I also love that it turns off automatically in 10 minutes and that it has the eye protection (although the flexibility and bending of the eye protection can be a little annoying, but I’m glad it’s there). Finally, I love that the mask is flexible and that it has a good number of lights at the right wavelengths to help with collagen production, reducing fine lines, etc. I haven’t had it long enough to see any improvements, but I do believe I will see them over time. Cost wise, it’s not cheap, but definitely not the most expensive mask out there...probably worth the price for what you’re getting with the light quantity and wavelengths. Now for the cons: I absolutely hate the straps. They’re too low and don’t keep the mask up high enough, so it’s constantly falling off. It’s a pain and needs another redesign. The strap needs to be higher on the head for it to be effective. I also find that the mask is longer than my face, so things like the mouth hole don’t line up and the bottom of the mask is much lower than my chin. Not a huge deal, but I wish it fit a little more accurately. I also feel it’s difficult to put the mask on. I want to be able to set the straps to a good place and just slip the mask over my face, but I can’t. I have to undo the straps every time, which is a little annoying.

Perfetta per chi vuole prendersi cura della propria pelle in modo avanzato ma semplice, senza dover ricorrere continuamente a trattamenti estetici costosi o invasivi. Un vero gioiellino hi-tech della skincare, che consiglio a chiunque voglia fare un passo in più nella propria routine. Un investimento che rifarei mille volte!
