Rich and Flavorful
No one would confuse this Zatarain bourbon chicken rice for something healthy, but then again, it is a New Orleans-style side dish, a cuisine not known for its light fare. The rice is salty, a little sweet, and mildly spicy. It’s easy to cook on the stove, but it also works in my Ninja Foodi multi-cooker when I’m preparing a full dinner inside. (It goes on the bottom layer.). The rice always turns out well with tons of flavor.

Nice side dish with a little kick
This item was good, but it was too spicy for me. It had great flavor, great texture i highly recommend purchasing this item if you like a little spice 😋

Easy weeknight dinner idea!
We made this with chunks of grilled chicken in it. Next time I would definitely add some stir fry veggies but it made a really tasty meal. Grab a bag of frozen veggies, some chicken and you have a tasty, fast, easy weeknight dinner that I think most people would enjoy.

It was missing flavor so I added some stuff, all of which I can't remember. I look for mixes that make a meal with rice. It's a cheap meal. I like boullion cubes so I probably added a chicken boullion cube and a little brown sugar. If there is something that isn't outstanding, I'll use it as a breakfast bowl and put a fried egg on top.

Delicious 😋
Just made this today. We thought it was delicious. I roasted cut peppers and made a bourbon chicken online recipe with store bought shredded chicken. I also used broth instead of water. The meal was a keeper. I will definitely buy this rice again. Recipe was easy and took 25 minutes to make on the stove. We enjoyed it. I couldn't find this rice in the grocery store. I'm glad Amazon carries it.
