Kingroon PLA 3D Printer Filament,10 Rolls, 10kg Spool(22lbs),Single and Triple Color1.75 mm,4 Triple Color Silk PLA+6 PLA

Initial impressions: This was a great price for a "bulk" filament buy. Rolls are not perfectly rolled but I have not had any binds or issues even when using an AMS unit. My standard for this is lower for single discrete color filaments. It prints less than glossy but not quite "matte" in a faster printer like Bambu Labs X1s, so you might get different results with a slower printer perhaps edging closer to the shine of a PLA basic. It suggests that it is dimensionally accurate and while I did not perform specific tests for that, I can tell you it prints quite rigid and stiff. There are models I print that require two parts to click together typically needing a little material flex to pop them together. This does not budge at all. So if you are looking for rigid which dimensionally accurate parts may demand, this will do it. If you are looking for something that will flex a little, fuggadaboutit. That is a pro or con depending on your use case. I have not done any stress testing but my impression is that it is quite strong and layers adhere well based on the models I have printed so far. Stringing was not evident at all. Bridging was average, not impressive. Those last two observations will depend mostly on your slicer settings and filament profile so your mileage may vary. And to be fully tranparent mine are not dialed in at all and I have only printed a little more than 1 roll of this. Overall, highly recommended for the price. This a working bargain filament, it's not going to give the prettiest color or shine but the prints are clean and strong. It jmhas shown no sign of being brittle. At the price it is hard to beat. Paintability was not tested but it looks like it would do as well as any PLA for printing. I will edit the review if down the road anything radically changes. At this point it is a great basic filament value probably great for printing functional parts/prototyping and adequate for more decorative pieces assuming you are good with the potebtialky flat color/finish or intend to paint.

This is my 4th time buying Kingroon in these bulk packs, and I will be sure to keep doing so. The filament is great, I've had zero clogs on the 30+ rolls printed so far on 3 different printers. The PLA prints well, with a nice, very slightly shiny finish. It does print glossier where it touches the build plate, and under supports when using tree supports, but that's easy to plan for.

I’m really impressed with this Kingroon PLA filament set. The variety of colors is fantastic—perfect for different projects without needing to buy multiple individual spools. The filament feeds smoothly and consistently, and prints come out clean with good layer adhesion and minimal stringing. I’ve had no clogging or tangling issues so far. The spools are well-packed, and the plastic quality feels solid and not brittle. Overall, this is a great deal for anyone who does a lot of 3D printing or just wants a reliable set of PLA filaments for everyday use. Highly recommend!

I really wish I could do 0 stars. I had bought this set before and it was not too bad. However this time around I really really needed a lot of these colors quickly so I got this bundle and first of all they came in a box with no plastic covering at all. And honestly looked dusty and there were even pet hair on it. Okay I thought maybe it was just someone returned it but once I started printing with it, it was fail prints after fails! Literally horrible. The white doesn't even look pigmented enough, the blue looks muted. not to mention whatever I do it is stringy and horrible.

Some of the colors come out not quite as vibrant as they appear on the roll, but they do look really good. I have used a bunch of these now over the past couple months in making toys and it prints great. (I have 4 bambu (a1 mini, a1, ps1, and x1c ALL with AMS) and a Qidi Plus-4) I have had 0 issues with these using the generic pla settings in the respected apps for my printers. Adhesion seems great across the board with minimal issues in that regard. Flow rates and consistency all seemed fine. I will be buying another batch soon as these are great options for printing toys for etsy.

I used this filament on my newest printer, a Sovol SV08, and on my Bambu Labs X1 Carbon. So far, I've printed three of the four rolls. On my attached picture, you can see a print I did on the X1C with two colors, the blue and white. It came out great. I'm really pleased with how well the printer lays this filament down. However, the colors aren't exactly vibrant. They're all sort of muted and flat looking. The red is somewhere between orange and red. I generally print functional stuff, like tool storage, so the color isn't all that big a deal for me, and for the price, I've been happy with this purchase. Edited 12-31-24. I still like this filament! And, so far I've reordered this 4-pack twice more since the original review. What I said before is still true. And now, I've seen that it seems consistent from one order to the next, which is obviously a good thing. The plastic spools work well in the AMS on my Bambu Labs X1C...some brands come with cardboard spools which require an adaptor, which works, but is an annoyance. One thing I didn't notice on my initial review, however, is that on SOME of these spools, when the filament runs out, the last bit doesn't pull free of the spool. The filament is fed through a small hole in the spool when it's wound at the manufacturer...and the bend in that little bit of filament seems to vary a bit...if it's bent a lot, the filament doesn't pull free when it should. This leaves it stuck, and your machine's filament runout sensor (if it has one) doesn't recognize it as a problem, because the filament that's in there just can't advance any further. I've attached a picture of a roll that's still about half full, and it shows the filament poking through the hole in the center hub of the spool. This one isn't bent very much, and would probably work OK, but others are bent much more, and the bent end essentially 'hooks' the spool. This is easily fixed...a pair of flush cutters (like the ones that come with almost all printers these days) can trim that filament back right up to the hole, as I've shown in the following picture. There's not enough left in the hole to prevent it from being pulled into the extruder. It's something I'll try to remember to check from now on.

For your stash of printing filament, you keep the good stuff with the wild colors for special projects, then you have the garbage stuff you use for prototyping, testing, or for other objects that you don't care what the color is. This stuff is perfect for that. At around $11/kg, the price is amazing. It's pretty forgiving on temperature ranges and flow amounts. I did a bunch of calibration runs on my Bambu X1C, and was able to comfortably push this stuff at a flow rate of 24 mm^3/s on a 0.4mm nozzle size. That's faster than Bambu's own PLA settings. The grey color is a perfect "primer grey" which is also great for taking paint colors. Pull the trigger on a big 10kg order, and go wild printing all the stuff you hesitated on because you didn't want to waste expensive filament! I do agree with others that it does tend to clog, especially on a 0.2mm nozzle with fine detail work. However, if you print it hotter at around 240C it flows a little better and reduces the clogging.

I initially wrote a critical review which is reprinted below. Unsolicited, the seller reached out to me after reading my review and offered to refund my entire order. I didn't accept because I had already used the filament as detailed below. However, the fact that they were willing to stand-by their product and make such an offer says a lot about the seller. Customer service is as or more important that the product itself because all consumable products will be subject to some variability; filament, perhaps, more than most. The fact that the seller was willing to forego the proceeds of the sale to make things right when something goes wrong speaks volumes about them and their integrity. Buy with confidence! Prior rating, below: Inconsistent. You Must Tune Settings and Use Lg'er Nozzels w/ Higher Print Temps. I bought 4 rolls and have used 3. One worked great w/ .4mm nozzle at 200c, one was horrible and consistently clogged with these settings, and one clogged intermittently with these settings and would only work consistently w/ a .6mm nozzle (or larger, presumably) at 210c. I don't know why this PLA is so inconsistent, but it is. Once you get the settings dialed in for the roll you're using, you're still not out of the woods because the plastic's melt characteristics can change in the middle of the roll. To be safe, I've found that a .6mm @ 210c is a safe starting point and I would not go any smaller or cooler if I had a long print to do. Yes, this stuff is priced well. Just don't use it on critical prints or prints that will cause you heartburn if you have to start over multiple times.

Me gusta mucho este filamento ya que puedo trabajarlo hasta 150% de velocidad, bajo los parámetros normales que indica su etiqueta no se hace feo, su olor al imprimir es el normal del pla (mantener ventilado), se ve bien, lo pude pintar sin problema (me ayudaron con pintura para uñas), dejo fotos de impresión donde coloque mal los soportes y aun así se imprimió bien la pieza (dos días trabajando continuo y no hubo ningún problema).

Finally finished my F1 inspired by the RC Tamiya model All black parts are made with kingroon black pla filament 1.75 mm Also started a stand to work on my RC with the same black Will definitely reorder again No tangles,knots or failed prints sticks the bed perfectly I recommend and was delivered in 2 days and I'm in Canada (quebec)

Todo el filamento venía roto por secciones y estaba húmedo .

Aún no he tenido oportunidad de abrirlos (porque si los saco del vacío debo ocuparlos por que se junta humedad) sin embargo, se ven bien. En cuanto haya algo de mi interés para imprimir, reajustaré la opinión.
