Vinyl LP pressing. If you applied a microscope to the early-90s American hard rock scene, looking for one pivotal song that encompassed the period, then you'd be hard pressed to get past "Cherry Pie," a track that was all conquering at the time, firmly establishing itself as one of the era's calling cards. Warrant's sophomore album of the same name, far superior to their debut and decidedly heavier, was once again produced by veteran studio wizard Beau Hill (Winger, RATT, KIX) and originally issued in 1990. It launched the band to even greater heights, the title cut becoming one of the most played songs of the year and a virtual prime time MTV staple. Further singles like "I Saw Red," "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and "Blind Faith" helped the album reach No. 7 on The Billboard 200 and made the band poster boys of '90s pop-metal. Review: Perfect Pressing on Cherry Pink Vinyl - Frik'n awesome record "PERIOD" The best album from Warrant drop the mic! I had no idea they covered the song "Train Train" from the band Blackfoot & was an added surprise. The albums pressing is impeccable from Music on Vinyl in its color & sonic range with zero distortion or bad recording levels. If you like 1990 Warrant this one's a must have for memories! Happy old rocker!!!! Review: CLEAN PRESSING ON OPAQUE RED VINYL - Nowhere in any of the pre-release publicity did I read that the vinyl would be colored, so I assumed it would be black... yet all the while I was thinking, "Man, they missed on opportunity here, because this record needs to be red." Lo and behold, it arrived on nice, heavy (presumably 180g), red opaque vinyl. It's flat, and it sounds excellent. There also was no mention of the source material, so I was leery, having bought my share of poorly pressed records with crappy sound cut from digital masters. I don't know what the source material was for this pressing, but I have no complaints about sound quality (and I'm really picky) save for the faintest whoosh on the lead-in, but that's not all that uncommon these days. If I could rate this with decimal points, I'd go 4.75 stars only because of that tiny whoosh, but limited to whole numbers, I have to go with a full 5 stars. I just can't deduct a whole star based on a very subtle flaw that I probably would't have heard if I hadn't been wearing quality headphones. If you like this record, buy this vinyl pressing of Cherry Pie. It's tasty.

Great band and great pressing
Great record. Great band. Very good pressing. I am always skeptical about buying any remastered or reissued records. But this copy by Music on Vinyl met my expectations. The lows and highs were perfect.

An excellent late edition to the hair metal genre!
Warrant has always been a guilty pleasure for me. They arrived so late in the hair metal era and their sound and image were so heavily polished that most people (including me) wrote them off as a cheap knock off. Many of my metal fan brethren at the time even thought they weren’t even a real band, but just some random five guys that a behind-the-scenes producer put together to cash in on the hair metal craze (imagine my shock to find that *all* of their songs were in fact written by Jani Lane!). As someone born in 1970 who lived through the 80s hair metal boom and experienced it first hand, I can say that you have to understand that, at the time, to admit to liking Warrant was to invite immediate ridicule. That said, the one song I thought was pretty bad-ass, and the only song that would get you any street cred was “Uncle Tom’s Cabin.” (“Heaven” was garbage, and the acoustic version of “I Saw Red” that was on endless rotation on MTV at the time was truly cringe worthy). So I wrote the band off (in 1990)…..UNTIL I listened to this vinyl that just arrived this evening (Feb, 2024). This album KICKS ASS!!! The aforementioned “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” is the hands-down best track on the album, but the surprise runner-up delights include “Bed of Roses,” “Blind Faith,” “Mr. Rainmaker,” and *above all* “Love In Stereo” (the honky tonk piano being an unexpected delight). The vinyl (especially in the perfectly apropos pink) sounds awesome! Well worth the price!

Sweet Cherry Pie
Still bemused by the lack of publicity for this release, ive been looking for a vinyl copy for ages and theres only expensive copies from the 90s available. Pleasantly shocked about the gatefold and colored vinyl which was also not advertised. Just a great package and the sound is crisp and clear. A great album from my youth and im happy to have this in my collection again. For the price you cant go past this!
