ACEBEAM TAC 2AA EDC Tactical Dual Modes Flashlight, 1600 High Lumens Light

Good general purpose EDC flashlight. Bright enough for doing deliveries around a rural environment, especially for this price. The two modes are kind of odd, but once I set it to where it was needed there is no need to change it, and I only use the thumb button on this particular flashlight. The battery is unique in that the charging port is on the battery itself. So you have to remove the battery, and leave it out while its charged. This is inconvenient, but also makes the body of the light more enclosed and protected from the elements. On a full charge, with occasional to moderate use at least every other day in the summer, a full charge lasted me from April to the end of July. All and all, it was a good purchase.

Besides using it on cars I have started to use it around the house and it's been great. The Acebeam TAC 2AA is a durable and compact tactical flashlight, ideal for everyday carry and professional use. It features a robust aluminum build, I have a dropped it from up to 6 feet a few times and it continues to work. It provides a balanced beam for all my needs, and offers multiple lighting modes controlled by an intuitive dual-switch interface. While it has a shorter runtime on high mode, the rechargeable feature and its capability to use 2 AA batteries while still providing high output is amazing. Definitely a valuable and must have EDC tool or automotive flashlight.

Quality is excellent. Nice smooth finish. Rear rail switch works great. Very bright at turbo, but gets hot fast. The silicone light stick cover is nice and thick, but I probably will never use it. Aside from that theres a few major issues. I fine the front button and changing modes cumbersome. My Fenix LD20 flashlight can do all that at the tail switch. If I want to use med output, I need to turn it on via tail button, then switch my hold and press the front button to change the modes from Turbo>low>med. Where as my fenix light just use the tail switch to control mode via half press down on the button without switching my grip. The other big problem is this Li-on usb battery 14100 that nobody sells. Even Acebeam website does not list it. So when this battery goes bad(typically last 5-6 yrs with daily use), you will have to go back to AA batteries. I guess you can still use rechargeable AA battery with it after that. I probably wont get this one again if I need another flash light. I will look for something else that uses a more common high power rechargable battery like the 21700 battery. I wish someone told me this before purchase.

Great flashlight! I purchased it a few months back and use it everyday for work. I’ve only had to charge it once. The battery last a long time and the light it bright.

Nice hot spot, and flood, modes are simple to go through, about the size of a sharpie pen, fits good in the hand, battery life is amazing charging is no problem, a bit to long for EDC, it is noticeable in the pocket, but GREAT flashlight

Loving this flashlight. Good size, close to a Mini Maglite, but on the larger size for most people's pockets. I carry it to work as a carpenter and it works well in my utility pocket or tool bags. Its very bright, and although I don't use the various settings often it's nice to have them. The clip is sturdy and I love how it can be clipped in 2 different orientations. Makes it easy to clip on my hat or a nail in the wall. The rechargeable battery is good quality to far, and I like that I can toss in a couple AA batteries if I can't charge the one it came with. I will buy again to spread around or give as gifts. I was pleasantly surprised by the rubber shade covers it came with a well.

Bright, small and convenient… not sure when I put this review on, but it has gone dead in the middle of a power outage and the battery is huge and I’ve never seen one like it before. This is not rechargeable. I wouldn’t recommend buying it. I’ve changed my mind upon use..

Love these little lights. Perfect for hvac service, plowing, walking around at night. Very bright at 1600lm. Typically I have to turn down the lux its so bright. Little colored cones are useful. One of the best features is the rechargeable battery. It uses a USB c to charge and is pretty quick charging. Battery seems to be long use time.

Maravillosa... Un alumbrado excelente, no se le puede pedir más, y con las fundas blancas o roja perfecta para luz ambiente o señalización. No se lo que dura la batería porque no la he probado a fondo, espero que responda bien.

Excellent quality torch., it’s so bright! Got this as it was recommended as the best torch for reasonable money. It really is top notch. Ideal for home as an emergency torch and the red / clear covers would be great for use in a car or camping as they flood the room with light. The clip looks strong and I’ll test that over the coming weeks out and about. I’ll leave more feedback. The charge function is another reason I bought it as I’ll use it often and didn’t want to be buying batteries every few weeks.
