Columbia womens Newton Ridge Plus Waterproof Amped

I just bought these boots about 2 weeks ago for a trip to national parks. Without breaking them in whatsoever, I hiked the following national parks, Arches, Canyon Lands, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, plus unique parks along the way, and City and beach walking. These hiking boots are very impressive. On this trip, I took three other pair of boots and two sneakers but I choose these boots 90 percent of the time because they are comfortable and provide excellent support. They look nice, are well balanced, not bulky or heavy. Keeps feet protected and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.

These shoes are great! I have a lot of pain in my feet and am very picky when selecting shoes, and these hiking boots have exceeded my expectations! I am happy I purchased a half size larger to leave room for thick socks. They’re very comfortable, great traction, waterproof, and very cute to boot! I definitely recommend them. Great brand! A great shoe boot for hiking or winter wear. I truly love the color as well. Very comfortable and well made. I ordered a half size bigger and I'm glad I did because you need to make room for the socks.

These are much more comfortable than I thought they would be. 4 1/2 stars because I had a couple minor complaints. Positives: - I wear a women’s size 91/2 in brooks running shoes and the 9 1/2 in these hiking boots fit perfect. -My toes do not touch the tips - heels do not slide up and down -good room in the toebox - good ankle support - they are soft and supportive. Cons: -hit/rubbed the top part of my Achilles. I added a soft gel heel lift and this took care it. -the insoles are a little hard on the Metatarsal area. I’m considering adding a softer insole Overall the hiking shoes are soft, supportive, and pretty comfortable.

These are comfortable boots and great for longer hikes. They fit well and do not cause any pain in the heel area. Laces are long enough to double knot.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I initially ordered these because they could be delivered within 24 hours, had good reviews and I was on my way to Glacier National Park. I had mistakenly left my comfortable worn in hiking boots at my friend’s house and needed boots within 24 hours. Needless to say, I was expecting a lot of blisters with new boots. The first day we hiked about 13 miles and I couldn’t believe it, my feet felt great. Over the next four days we continued with significant hiking, including in Logan’s pass where it was very snowy. Again the boots were amazing. I often have trouble finding comfortable shoes, not sure why since I don’t have wide or narrow feet but for whatever reason these boots went hiking with me for over 50 miles, and my feet were never uncomfortable, nor did I get any blisters. I highly recommend these boots! Would give them more stars if possible. I only do reviews when something is either really good or really bad. These are great!

Wasserdicht, wenn man sie regelmäßig einfettet bzw wachst. Super bequem.

Trage Zwischengrösse, die leider nicht bei allen a geboten wird. Toll daß ich die hier bekomme. Die Schuhe haben mich schon ein Jahr beim gassi gehen begleitet. Werde ich nochmals kaufen, da das Profil nach sehr vielen Kilometern schon etwas runter ist.

Die Lieferung kam früher als erwartet. Der Schuh ist soweit toll. Schönes Material, Schwarz ist es nicht ganz, aber... im rechten Schuh brauche ich ein Fußbett, da mein Fuß immer nach innen knickt. Das hat der Schuh leider nicht, nur eine sehr kleine Erhebung, innen im Bereich Mittelfuß. Der linke Schuh sitzt perfekt und fühlt sich beim Gehen gut an. Ich habe Schuhgröße 40,5 und hatte entsprechend bestellt. Daher schicke ich ihn wieder zurück.
