Brilliant little guide, filters out the needless information contained in most books on this sort of subject and yet gives you all of the information you actually need. Additionally all drawings are in colour which is usually not the case in books like this yet it is very useful. The book is short (for good reason) but everything included is relevant and the author has ensured you're not bombarded with pointless information yet explains everything you need to know and does it very well. I can't rate this highly enough and for the price it's a steal.

Professional or hobbyist, you'll find a tip that might make your life solving tricky electrical problems a positive experience. ( excuse the pun) Like life it's the little things that trip us up, electricity is no different and this book helps expose those little things using a few methods.

Excellent reading pretty easy to understand well worth the money.I will in fact purchase the rest of these books. Brilliant

Nice well set out e-book for novice to understand, gives you a bit more understanding hopefully if things go wrong. Bought others from this series so i recommend.

Good book to read, for beginners or DIY. Learn some new trick, other stuff was common sense. Look forward to reading some more. I did have one question on the relay part of things. It might just be me, but the relay picture/diagrams didn’t look right, but I’m no expert.

Great book,, great ideas. Seemed a little basic at first, but proved quite valuable and full of good practical ideas

It is good for students who are staring out with electronics, it will give you a high level picture on how to approach a circuit for testing. Once you are finished with this book then you can go for more expensive books which give a detail analysis for circuit testing and repairing.

This entire series is excellent. A lot of practical information not found in other books. Especially valuable for beginners.
