– Case for iPhone 16, Onyx Magnetic (Black)

Discovering the Ringke Onyx for iPhone 15 has been quite a treasure hunt in the world of phone cases. I was looking for something that's not too bulky, not too flimsy, but just right and this case hit the sweet spot. As a previous owner of the Ringke Onyx for iPhone 12, I knew it met my expectations. It provides ample protection without making my phone feel like a tank, a win-win for those who value both safety and aesthetics. The camera protection is especially appreciated, as I tend to treat my phone like a delicate work of art. The grip texture along the sides is just right, offering a secure hold without the fear of accidental drops. The subtle texture on the back is a pleasant surprise, while the strong magnets keep my MagSafe accessories in place with unwavering confidence. The cutouts for buttons, ports, and cameras are precise. One unique feature that sets this case apart is the raised edges at the top and bottom. This thoughtful design allows for smooth scrolling without the raised edges getting in the way – a rarity among phone cases. However, my journey to the perfect case wasn't entirely smooth sailing. The first case I received had a misaligned magnet, creating a small but noticeable bump. But I got it replaced and the replacement case was flawless. If you're seeking a minimal, protective case with exceptional design, look no further! Just keep an eye out for any mischievous magnets! P.S. Ringke, if you're listening, your quality control could use a bit of fine-tuning!

I’ve always bought expensive cases for my iPhone; most recently I’ve insisted on using Caudabe cases. They’re excellent but hard to find in the UK, and not cheap, but I’ve always worked on the basis that you get what you pay for with this sort of thing. When I upgraded to the iPhone 15, I looked on Amazon to see if the Caudabe cases were available there, and came across this case from Ringke. It had good reviews, and so for a third of the price I thought I’d give one a try. Wow! This case is superb, possibly the best I’ve ever had for an iPhone. Unlike the Caudabe case the lenses have a full protective surround, that doesn’t interfere with the wide angle view at all. The micro-grip texture on the sides of the case is a work of art - the perfect fit for the tiny whorls of your fingerprints, which gives you a gecko like grip on the phone (and feels so good I can’t stop playing with the case and feeling how it almost sticks to my fingers when I hold it by the sides ☺️) I’ve only had this a month so far, and I haven’t dropped my phone in it (the Caudabe cases, although slimline do offer amazing impact protection) so I can’t tell you what it will be like in a year, and I can’t tell you more about what the impact protection will be like, but it feels very solid and for the price I’d say it can’t be beaten. And the only one improvement I can think of - can we have a version in grey please? ☺️

I’m going to edit my review, since owning iPhone 17 I’ve had 2 other cases one from another decent brand Spigen. But it felt too bulky and not that grippy. Though they had air cushions, and cover over the camera control but! I still came back to this case due to the feel, the grip and how thin it is! Such a perfect case if you don’t drop your phone and require the best protection for phone. Highly recommend, wish they had more colours though.

Case looks and feels great. Lots of grip on the sides and the texture is nice. Only taken a star off because mine has a manufacturing defect and there is a bump on the back and inside. Hard to see on the images. Also haven't tried MagSafe yet so will update once I have.

Was on the fence about this case for a while due to the lack of reviews, but I’m thrilled I finally decided to pull the trigger! Honestly, if this case had a voice, it would probably whisper, “Trust me, I’ve got you” every time I picked it up. First impressions: sleek yet reassuringly sturdy. Now, don’t get it twisted – if you’re planning on chucking your phone across a canyon like they do in those Mous adverts, maybe reconsider your life choices (and your case). But if you’re just a normal human being who doesn’t play “toss-the-phone,” this is perfect. And good luck dropping it anyway – the grip on this thing makes your hand feel like it’s Velcroed to your device. The magnets? Oh, they’re so strong, they could probably hold up a picture of your ex on your fridge just to remind you what you're not missing. The buttons? Clicky enough to make you want to press them for fun, and we all know we love a good clicky button. At this price point, you’d have to try really hard to find something bad to say about it. In fact, the hardest part about this case might just be trying not to write love poems to it. Five stars, would let it babysit my phone any day.

I am very impressed with this case for my new iphone 17 pro max. People say it is a lose fit, but not with the screen saver and lens protector installed. A really good grip. I bought the black case and have the dark ble phone, with not a lot of the phone case visible. Charging cable fits well. Waiting for a mag safe charger stand to arrive. Why are other cases so expensive? Not showing fingerprints. Seems robust for a cheap plastic case. No complaints.

Feels like a premium product straight on the phone. Grip is reassuming in the hand, but not obvious to the eye. I had a camera protector on the back that I’ve had to remove because the case is snug around the camera, but that’s fine because it’s raised around the camera and the front screen so I feel confident placing it on surfaces on either side. Buttons work nicelu through the case as expected. 100% recommend

The case material is nice - it is slightly less grippy than I expected but still much better than most cases, while allowing sliding in and out of a pocket. The cut out for the camera button is quite sharp and has potential to dig in to the hand when holding it for long periods. I would have preferred this to be covered. The edges at the top and bottom are raised but not in the middle - this doesn’t bother me too much and allows easier swiping from left or right of the screen. Unfortunately the case I was delivered has a production flaw - one of the magnets in the case is clearly not flush inside the case and protrudes through the rear, leaving a slightly raised spot. It is very annoying and will result in a return. If the replacement is free of this issue I will update this review.

J’ai testé plusieurs coques avant de trouver celle-ci. J’ai d’abord opté pour des coques transparentes, mais travaillant dans des environnements plutôt sales, ce n’était pas la meilleure idée : elles se salissent et jaunissent très vite. Je me suis donc tourné vers des coques pleines. J’en ai essayé plusieurs types : • Les fines : agréables en main, mais protection limitée. • Les épaisses : très protectrices, mais elles dénaturent complètement le design du téléphone. • Les rigides : esthétiques au début, mais elles se rayent trop facilement. La Onyx est, à mon avis, le meilleur compromis. Son plastique souple (sans être collant comme le silicone) offre une excellente prise en main et une bonne protection. Les découpes sont impeccables, tout tombe parfaitement en face. Elle se rapproche un peu d’un bumper, sans vraiment en être un : les bords haut et bas sont légèrement surélevés pour protéger l’écran, tandis que les côtés restent fins, ce qui rend le geste de balayage sur les bords de l’écran très fluide. Le toucher est également très agréable — l’arrière a un rendu proche du cuir, ce qui donne un aspect premium. Seul petit bémol : un bouton dédié pour l’appareil photo aurait été un vrai plus. 👉 En résumé : solide, bien finie, agréable en main et élégante. Je recommande vivement cette coque !

Destaco principalmente: Tacto y materiales: Se siente de muy buena calidad desde el primer momento, con un acabado totalmente premium. Agarre espectacular: El acabado rugoso de los laterales da muchísima seguridad al sostener el teléfono, evitando que se resbale de las manos. Cobertura total y cámara protegida: Cubre la parte trasera por completo. Además, el módulo de las cámaras queda perfectamente resguardado por un borde sobreelevado que evita que los cristales se rayen al apoyarlo. Diseño y protección inteligente: Los laterales recortados a la altura de la pantalla hacen que el uso de los gestos sea comodísimo. Aunque pueda parecer que protege menos en esa zona, lo compensa elevando los bordes superior e inferior, por lo que la pantalla no toca ninguna superficie si apopyas el teléfono boca abajo. Compatibilidad MagSafe: El imán es fuerte y se acopla a la perfección con accesorios y cargadores sin soltarse. En resumen: un equilibrio perfecto entre ergonomía, cobertura completa y protección inteligente. ¡Totalmente recomendada, me encanta!

Like alot of us, we've gone through many generations of candybar phones. For me, my first candybar phone was the HTC Incredible, on android. I've owned 20 plus androids through the years and the case is an important addition. Having gone through this many iteration of cases, it's rare that I am surprised. The RINGKE Case surprised me in a good way, which is exciting to me. Who knew, a case can make such a difference in renewing my excitement for a candybar phone? The textured rugged feel is bar none, the best I've ever held for my iPhone 15 Pro Max, for my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and my Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Yes. I own these 3 phones, along with a Samsung Z Fold 6. Ringke doesn't offer a fold type case, otherwise, I'd be interested. My first experience with this Ringke case was wth the S25 Edge. The instant feel and reaction was how it kept the slimness of the S25 Edge without adding any bulk to it, as well, it inspired higher confidence in holding the phone, this is the same feeling translated to my S25 Ultra and now I orded for iPhone 15 Pro Max. It is basic without alot of expression. There are no graphics on it, very little choice in color. I absolutely don't mind that, and it is more to my style, or lack thereof. I like basic black. What makes this case simply genius is the nuaces of the textures, that truly engulfes your phone with grip, finger print proofing it, and ruggedness that screams added durablility upon a drop. I dont' feel like I'd ever drop it though. You know, in other cases, even when the case is on, the thought crosses your mind...what if I drop it? This case, instill such unreasonable confidence in me that I don't really think about dropping it, I only think about hold it and the pure enjoyment added to using my phone with it on. Quality and Value checked at the pricetag of $25. This particular one that is for the iPhone 15 Pro Max adds magsafe - it's a must. Buy with confidence is you are a minimalist lookin for a great feeling case, rugged, durable, inspired confidence and lastly renews your enthusiasm of using your phone again. It really does all that for me. One last note: I love how the case engulfs the entire camera bump. It is absolutely great design and very rare to find. Most cases cut out a huge hole for the camera leaving the entire bump exposed. Ringke nailed it with these style cases. Let's hope they have a case in this style for you phone.
