I have a Belgian Malinois, so you can imagine the Maligator jaws. Just opened this today and let her play with it indoors. She LOVES IT. It wore her out and it’s a toy she can really stay focused on without needing me to throw or roll for her. It moves on its own! I supervised her play. I was hoping it was too big to get under the couch, but no. It goes right under it. I had to block off the gap so I didn’t have to keep getting it out from under for her. The outter “shell” is very durable! When she had resting moments, she chewed it pretty good - I could hear the material squeaking against her teeth. I was worried she was tearing it up, but nope! Not a mark on it. It’s easy to set up and operate. It needed charging before play. After hours of play, she was able to somehow unscrew the outter shell. This concerned me bc the smaller, inner ball mechanism came out but I saw it right away and was able to put it back together. So, make sure it’s screwed together tightly (which I thought I had done without breaking it) and check it from time to time to make sure it hasn’t loosened. This is a great ball for her incredible high energy drive. It gives her the work and fun play she needs to get tired, which I love. This toy is on the expensive end, but so far it’s worth it. Now we’ll see how long it lasts!

Honestly it's a really cool product well constructed and moves around on its own with several different modes. The design id brilliant with a tough rubber ball that unscrew to expose the element that makes it move in the middle. The dog won't be able to unscrew it but you can if you ever need to replace the ball for any reason but it would take some work for a dog to destroy the outer ball. Almost like "Kong" type material. The ball is about the size of a softball and the element inside is about the size of a golf ball. I thought my dog would love this but she was afraid of it, which is strange because she's afraid of nothing. Anyways I gave it to my neighbor upstairs and she has a yorkshire terrier who plays with it all the time so it all worked out great. Quality product . Good job!

Bought this for our 45lb, ball-obsessed Dutch shepherd/pit bull dog mix. I had one of these years ago with the hard shell and couldn’t be happier with the new foam shell. The new foam shell is much quieter and while our dog might put holes in it with his teeth, he doesn’t seem to ever pull pieces off. For engagement level, he found it VERY interesting at first and was scared to grab it, but once he got over that he started holding it in his mouth even when it shakes and just tries to keep it. Isn’t the best for fetch or anything as he has trouble letting it go when it is actively moving, but it makes him happy while he has it. We just make sure to monitor him while it is out. The ability to change the outer shell and just buy a replacement for the shell instead of a whole new toy is a lovely feature that makes me very happy to continue buying from this company.

I have a 7 month old heeler. Someone suggested I get a ball that moves on its own. I am so glad I got this. I thought $40 was risky because I thought she would just chew it up within 10 minutes. I got it anyway. And so far so good! She doesn't chew on it because it vibrates vigorously when it's grabbed and that makes her spit it out. She is very entertained by it. Battery life is pretty good. Worth the money

To start, I have been very happy with this purchase. A couple of key points for me are durability and being able to keep my dog's attention. I have had it for almost a year, just a month shy, and she hasn't managed to get through the foam outer shell even though she tries real hard to do so. Let's just say, she's hard to find toys for because of her habit of finding the point of failure where she can pick and gnaw at until the toy is no longer safe for her to have. With this toy, she not only found her match, but it also has her watching, waiting, and even stalking. Only one small issue has recently occurred: the motor has started having an issue where the charge doesn't hold, and it doesn't remain on afterwards. I have reached out to Cheerble directly to see about replacing it since I am still within their 12-month timeframe, and they responded right away.

these are good balls and less noisy than the others but they no longer hold a charge and we have not had them for that long.

If your pet is any kind of chewer, this is not the toy for you. It’s made of nerf type material. I had to immediately take this from my dog or else there would have been nerf all over my home. I think it will be great for pets that don’t chew things up. But for me, I need a version for a chewer.

This amazed us. For perspective, we're talking about a three year old white german shepherd who if he's in the mood, has and can kill a toy within minutes or oddly enough be gentle with furry balls and carry them around as if they are his babies. He's an odd duck. Anyway, since he was a pup, and to this day, he'll play and entertain himself, he'll grab a ball, throw it up in the air, then pounce on it as if it's from outer space. It's really quite cute and funny. Because of those two things I was looking for something interactive that would entertain him and confuse him....let's be honest, watching a confused dog is one of life's great pleasures. I tried two other interactive balls and they were crushed immediately. After reading a lot of reviews, people with german shepherds said this ball actually had a life span. I thought the third time could be the charm and ordered one. Well, I think it actually may be from outer space because he's obsessed with it and hasn't taken a bite out of it. He hasn't once chewed it or even teared little pieces off. The three settings are great. Sometimes he likes one better than another, then forgets about the others. I'll change it up to one he hasn't seen in a while and the whole game starts over again. He'll throw it up in the air as he does with his others, watch it and try to figure out which way it's going to go. And yes, he will pounce on it if he times it right. The size is perfect, it's heavier than your average ball but, that's what make it sturdy. I have to sneak it away when he isn't paying attention to charge it, otherwise he'll sit, stare and cry if he knows it's on the counter charging. It's a lot of fun for all of us. I'm so happy I bought it...... I say give this ball a chance even if you have a beast with killer instincts. I'm buying another for a friends 2 year old golden retriever granddog. It moves, but not very much. Either I got a dud one or the movement is somewhat less than advertised. Yes it moves maybe about 3m and then stops and it bounces but only about 1cm off the ground at most. My dog is a Kelpie and this did not move as much as the advertising suggested in my opinion and she took one look at it picked it up and it could shake all it liked, she just carried it around and ignored it trying to move in her mouth. She got bored off it super quick, and it took along time when I put it on charge to say it was charged even though it was straight out of the box.
