After turning on the device, press the power button 3 times within 3 seconds to format the SD card. Or format the memory card in the AZDOME App settings interface.

Yes, you need to purchase extra memory card to use the dash cam and it supports SD card of 32GB-128GB. A2, U3, Class 10 Micro-SD card is recommended if you need to buy a new one, or just purchase AZDOME 64GB or 128GB SD card which is the most fit.
