Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 16GB (newest model) – 20% faster, with new 7" glare-free display and weeks of battery life – Jade

Such a great upgrade from the Kindle I bought in 2010. Loved that Kindle, but it no longer worked for downloads and book purchases as it was an older operating system. Amazon offered a discount to upgrade, so I took advantage of that offer and bought this Kindle paper white 16gb. It's really a great e-reader. So small and light yet many great features. It can hold up to 5500 books, and I know that is much more than enough for me. It reacts so much faster than my older kindle and set up , pairing with my iPhone took about 3 mins...so easy. I love the screen..no glare, really looks like the paper in a book. Easy on the eyes, so I will be using this in bed before going to sleep. Still learning all the tricks of the screen, but it's easy to figure out as you go along. It says the battery lasts for 10 weeks, and if that is true, that will be incredible. Looking forward to enjoying many books on my new Kindle paperwhite

I’ve been using the Kindle Paperwhite for a while now and I absolutely love it. The screen looks just like real paper, even in bright sunlight, and it’s very easy on the eyes. The battery lasts a long time, and I really like the adjustable warm light for reading at night. It’s lightweight, waterproof, and perfect for traveling. Overall, it’s an amazing device for anyone who loves reading. Definitely worth it.

This is an excellent reading device for those who have so many books that they cannot store any more. I’ve already foreclosed 25 novels and it takes minimal room on the device. It is easily charged, and the charge lasts quite a good while. The typeface is easy to read, and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I anticipate many good years of service from this lightweight, convenience-oriented product.

My wife loves this, super small and compact which makes it nice for her to stow. Battery lasts forever I think she’s only had to charge it like two times ! Very user friendly and easy to read.

Purchased this Kindle Paperwhite for children and it has been a great choice. The new 7” glare-free display is very easy on the eyes, and the device feels responsive with faster performance. Setup was simple, and there have been no issues or complaints so far. A reliable and distraction-free reading device that works perfectly for its purpose.

I absolutely love my Kindle Paperwhite. It is the perfect size and weight. It fits comfortably in my hands and the screen is always readable no matter the weather, day or night. My only criticism is that the Kindle book shopping experience is abysmal. Typing and navigation about the book store are slow and cumbersome, and it is very normal to have to reboot the device to get it to even connect to the store. The device is nearly perfect. The back end accessing the book store front is not.

Wonderful e-book reader. The books are very affordable, I have already purchased enough books to keep me busy for a long time and haven’t spent more than $20.00 for all of them. Battery life is great, I charge it once a week just to keep it above 70%. The Paperwhite is easy to read for longer periods of time without eye strain due to brightness. Navigation was a little challenging at first but within a week I had picked up the menus and settings and now have the Kindle customized to my liking.

I absolutely love the new model of the Kindle, after having two of the older models. It’s easy to read in both bright sunlight and darkness. The size is great, as it fits in my bag but is still large enough to comfortably read. It stays charged for weeks on end, and I’ve never had it freeze up on me or need a restart. It’s also very user friendly, and options for fonts, size, and color warmth are easy to find and change.
