Guaranteed amazingly delicious bread every time
We have baked 150 loaves of bread ( one every day since it arrived) and have had 148 amazing loaves. The two failures were down to user error, where we had forgotten to add the yeast / sugar and one time the paddle! Dough! ( pun intended). You simply cannot go wrong if you remember all the ingredients. Make sure you follow the ingredients order per Panasonic. For a normal loaf after making sure the paddle is in, the order is : yeast, sugar ( we use only Bulgarian unadulterated honey), flour (we enjoy mixing different flours ie white, wholemeal, malted, einkorn ), butter ( we use pure extra virgin olive oil), salt and finally lukewarm water. Once done switch it on and that's it. The Panasonic does everything after that. Four hours later you have an amazing loaf! Trust me the aroma of baking bread when you come back into the house cannot be beaten! From the video you can see the bread being kneaded. I measured the db. It is quite loud and so if you plan to use the timer and set it off so you wake up to a freshly baked loaf then be warned. I usually set to have a crusty loaf and this takes an extra ten minutes, but its incredible. If possible remove the loaf from the tin once baked as this allows the steam to escape and gives a better crust. Not once has the loaf failed to come out cleanly leaving the paddle in place in the tin and not the loaf. You will notice the paddle is a loose fit on the stem. It has to be like this to allow it to be removed easily. Just run water into the tin and leave and it will pull off. We use a little bottle brush to clean the residue off the paddle. The bread lasts two days. On day three it is a bit stale, simply because its not full of preservatives! ( buy your flour from small producers if you wish to avoid the folic acid being forced into flour in the UK). Its ideal for bread and butter pudding though. We absolutely love this ( for two people) and wish we had bought one earlier and we have bought the larger family size one for a family member who also loves the Panasonic. Honestly, dont umm and aaa buy this today. You will not regret it. Ps it makes jam, bakes cakes, makes pizza dough etc which you can see in the information from Panasonic.

Ideal Bread Maker for one or two people
This bread maker takes up little space and is easy to use. Some other reviews mentioned it being noisy and lack of recipes. It is noisy only when it is kneading, just for a short time. There is a shortage of recipes with the supplied literature but the Panasonic website recipes are easily accessed. It has been used for two months with perfect loaves every time.

Machine works well
Very easy to use. When I got the order of ingredients sorted, also applied slight tweaks of, different to the instructions, measurements, but for flour. Yeast in the water (tepid, and I use less 150-160 ml) added last. I use less than a desert spoon of sugar. Not a tablespoon, as per instructions, half that in with the yeast and water. Other half, or less, in the dry ingredients go in first. Butter on top of dry stuff. I prepare, weigh them all, and the butter/marge, before I even measure the water, so it’s an orderly prep, for speediness of putting into machine, I thereafter got brilliant results. Crusty and delicious. Looks fab, tastes fab. Quality machine, quality bread. Risen well. Happy days. Note: To easily separate the cooked loaf from the tin and sticking to the mixing blade, as soon as the beeps go, put the tin into cold water, iced if you like, Hey presto, nothing sticks.

Perfect little bread maker for one to two people
Well I just love this little bread maker, which makes the perfect size loaf for one to two people and they turn out perfectly every-time. Yes, there’s not a lot of recipes in the booklet, but that’s because they are all online on the Panasonic site. Also, take no notice of the reviews that say it’s noisy. It only makes noise when it is kneading and it only does it at the beginning for a very short time and the end and it isn’t that noisy and the rest of the time it’s silent. If you’re looking for a mini bread maker for one to two people, that’s reasonably priced, this is it. I looked around and compared for ages and this one ticked all of the boxes and it takes up hardly any room on the kitchen side which is another bonus!

Grab ear defenders for great results!
Produces a lovely, tiny loaf of bread. Just what we wanted for just two of us in the house. A bit of tinkering with the recipe and you can get good results out of white, wholemeal, 50/50 and so on. Consistently good. However, here's the bad bit! It's LOUD. Even while 'resting' it hums and buzzes like an electricity substation headed for thermal runaway. Mixing - well, it's louder than our 30 year old Kenwood mixer, louder than the washing machine, and if you set it to run over night (you know - for that lovely fresh bread in the morning) your neighbours will be round to complain. Seriously! We previously had a larger Panasonic and we'd routinely set it to bake overnight and sleep soundly without hearing a thing. Not with this one. Be warned!

This is a very good bread maker
This is the 2nd BREAD MAKER we have had,the 1st being a tower with that I tryed for 6 months to get what I consider a good loaf of bread not matter what I did the bread was not good more like cake than bread so I gave up,that was 2 years ago in all reviews panasonic have come out top,2 loafs done I can now see why ,the bread is light years from what the tower one gave us,I was buying fresh bread from the super market that has now ended because this bread maker does a much better job and the bread is fantastic the image is the very 1st one we did

Foolproof (and I would know) for a basic loaf
If I can get this perfect first time, anyone can; five ingredients (no sugar for me) is three above my pay grade. Takes about four hours for a white loaf, and then I chose to wait two hours for it to cool. Perfect shape, perfect consistency, lovely crunch to the crust (I set it at the highest) all over. It's loud (ONLY when kneading), but barely heard it through kitchen and living room doors. Intructions muddled, should knead immediately, it didn't, but pressed start button again (far right), and bingo. When finished, the machine looked unused, cleaning is a breeze. For anything more than a basic loaf, "you're gonna need a bigger book".

Very low success rate
This is a very disappointing breadmaker. It works about 30%of the time. I always follow the instructions and I’ve had more disasters than successes. Today I’ve had another sunken loaf and I’m fed up. My Lakeland one worked every time
