Undercoating Spray Gun Kit with Suction Feed Cup

This spray gun worked great to apply fluid film to my truck! I adjusted the flow rate to my desired setting which is easily done by rotating the tip, then ran a full gallon of fluid film through it flawlessly. The extension tubes/nozzles come curved due to how they are packaged, but a little bit of heat from a heat gun or blow dryer straightens them out! The quality of this gun is better than expected, for someone like me who will only use it once or twice a year I’d expect it to last a long time. For those wondering I set psi to 70, adjusted spray nozzle flow rate, then went to work. At 68F I didn’t need to heat up the fluid film as the gun sprayed it at room temp no problem!

Finally got around using this to spray some fluid film black. Very pleased. I had my doubts whether this would work with something that viscous but it works great. If you want to spray fluid film black with it I highly recommend it.

Comparative to the one I ordered before this one, this one worked great. 4.5☆ honestly. Somehow, there is a knock off of this one. The lid locking is a little cheesy, especially crawling around under a truck. It is too easy to inadvertently bump the lever and loosen the lever that locks it. Just had to be more mindful of that. Aside from that it perfomed great spraying fluid film black.

Too many times I bought the cheapest item I was looking for. This time I didn’t cheap out and I am really happy with that decision. The gun worked flawlessly for fluid film. It was easy water clean up. The attachments worked great. After 3 vehicles being sprayed, it looks and works great. Don’t hesitate to buy this sprayer.

HIGHLY recommend to spray products like Fluid Film to undercoat a vehicle. Works much better than I ever expected. Worth the money, especially when your laying underneath your truck spraying it.

I have purchased a few different, undercoating, spray guns in recent years. Most are useless. This was able to forcefully spay a sufficient volume to effectively cover a surface. The nozzle extensions work tremendously well to fog internal, box frame rails and cross members. I was using a 5 HP compressor at 100 PSI with NH OIL.

The spray gun itself seems to be working well so far; it has already sprayed done for the all panels. Clean the gun details after the job every time was very important. However, some accessories are no longer functioning properly. The Paint storage tank size is too small as a toy, so I have to add the paint frequency and waste the work time. Air hose connector is EU type and cannot connect to the air hose normally, the type should be choose the Nitto to matched the hose connector in AU. Air pressure adjustment knob has no function. It screw opens directly to the air pump's set pressure; there are no adjustment functions whatsoever. So the part Air pressure gauge and Air pressure adjustment knob were useless too.

This is fantastic product. I made a giant mess and got the job done. I'll explain later. I used this to spray fluid film on my Tacoma and it worked beautifully. I used a small cheap plastic measuring cup that lives in the garage and was much easier to fill the bottle than trying to pour that black pudding. For the wands/hoses to spray inside the cross members I had pressure set to 90psi and for the general spray tip I dropped it down to 70 psi. On a 20⁰C day the fluid film didn't need to be heated up to flow better, that black pudding worked well through the gun as is. One note. Do be careful not to kink the 360 or other hose attachments when trying to get it into hard to reach areas; it forces the air into the bottle that holds the fluid film and will shoot fluid film out of the little breather hole and make a mess like a 4 year old unsupervised with a gallon of paint. I didn't learn my lesson the first two times and had to do it a third just to piss myself off even more. By then I was picking up the globs of fluid film and like a large roast just hand rubbed the spray gun excrement onto the backside of cross members so I didn't waste more than I already had. Cleanup of fluid film off the gun is quick with a little brake cleaner, even cleaner if you have more than two brain cells unlike myself. 10/10, wish I did this 8 years ago on my truck so I would just need to do annual touch ups and not be so messy from my own mistakes that I had to clean my shower after washing myself. I do wish the product reservoir was larger so I didn't need to refill it so often. Then again it was also too big to reach the harder to spray areas around the front suspension.
