Soviet Bus Stops: Volume II Review: Great Book - This is a beautiful book that has Soviet bus stops from Russia, Ukraine, Crimea, and Georgia. The introduction explains that in Volume I the author had specifically focused on the non-Russian SSRs as art in the periphery, but then chose to focus more on the heartland in this volume when they realized that so many of the Russian bus stops were disappearing. I love how spaced out the settlements are - the author just includes a photo or two from each municipality before moving on. The shots are beautiful, the introduction is brief yet informative, and this is a charming book. Review: Nostalgic - Got this book for my husband but surprisingly I found it very interesting myself. So many awesome architecture pieces.

Fantastic story and pictures of the magical bus stops of the former Soviet Union delivered by amazing photographer Chris Herwig
Chris Herwig has again managed to capture the amazing bus stops of the former Soviet Union. This time finally taking us to among other Russia. This book, together with volume I, is a master piece and an essential to everyone with an interest in architecture!

Unique gift
Bought this for my daughter who is very interested in brutalist architecture from the Soviet era and she loved it. This is a great vendor who sent the item in perfect condition, thank you!

Should be like Volume I
Really representative collection of architecture artifacts of soviet past. 4/5 because book size is too small for a photo book. Should be like Volume I, quarto at least.

Great book
I loved the first Soviet Bus Stops book, and couldn't wait to get this one. Definitely lives up to my expectations. More fascinating pictures; I can only imagine the stories behind them.

The book is awesome, gives a lot of insight into bus stops. But the book arrived with jagged corners. It looks like a used book. 10/10 on content, 3/10 on book condition

The minimal text works fine with this and the previous volume. It’s actually quite refreshing that the text is about why the project was done and the obsession with it, instead of the usual dribble that is written for this type of book. Quality book, just a shame Fuel make there books small.

Waiting for the bus need no longer be boring. The shelters shown in this book are certainly very different from the ones I am used to in Australia. The Russian ones have a slightly manic look to them and none of the photographs show a timetable anywhere near them. Do you just stand there waiting for a bus or do you hope that a friendly Lada driver will stop and give you a lift? It is a great book.
