ELO Vagabond Mobile Gaming Controller, Made for iPhone, USB-C, Android

I had high hopes for this controller and I'm happy to report, it did not let me down. I absolutely love it! The best part for me has to be the Hall Effect joysticks. They're incredibly smooth and precise and it's a relief knowing they won't start drifting after a few months of heavy use. It clamps onto my phone perfectly via USB-C so there's zero lag and it feels solid without putting a weird amount of pressure on the port. Ergonomically, it actually feels like you're holding a premium console controller rather than a cheap plastic toy. The grips are comfortable for longer sessions and the buttons have a really satisfying clicky snap to em. Also want to mention the awesome packaging. Definitely makes the unboxing experience exciting! This thing is absolutely worth the money and I couldn't recommend it more.

Very cool controller! I like the way it feels. Smooth and comfy to my hands. It is very simple to use. Connects in seconds. It works great with my phone. When I push buttons the response time is great. It makes mobile gaming so much easier and comfortable. I also love the look of it. It looks premium and smooth. When playing my hands and fingers do not get to hurting like with smaller ones. It feels more natural to use.

Controller seemed to be amazing, felt awesome in the hand, buttons were all perfect and felt great. Outside of that problems and more problems. So installed unleashed app which also seemed awesome. I really really wanted to love this contorller and everything said i would but like i said then the problems. i couldn't register serial number for warranty which is in the middle of the slide which is a royal pain In the butt to hold spread open and read. The warranty registration on the app just flat out wouldn't accept my number as another user wrote. Upon connection bam worked right away, updated firmware installed metalstorm and bam worked flawlessly, plugged in usb c passthru to charge and bam controller lights froze white. Wouldn't respond at all. Disconnected and reconnected without charge cord and lights flash and flash but controller wont connect. I mean from the second I got this remote everything felt amazing all the presentstion was flawless and granted it worked flawless for one match until i plugged in the charge cord to the pass thru port and it bricked the controller. so a vital part of the remote thats supposedly "let's you charge your phone while you play" charge passthru apparently ruined it all, that and the fact that the warranty registration wouldn't take the serial number. Id give it negative stars if I could. Maybe the company will reach out and make it right. The controller literally worked flawlessly for 1 match and I was in love and bam smack in the face. Ill change my review if the company reaches out and tries to make it right because it really is a nice controller when it works and everything is just perfect and flawless but why have a passthru chargeing port that causes the remote to brick. Come on!! Its a known issue too considering reddit users have reported it. Granted most have been able to get it fixed mine however its done. I tried hooking it to another phone even and nothing. Maybe it was just a bad unit. It would be nice if they'd make it right considering the thing is like two weeks old and used once. I can even give them the serial number if they want to reach out so I guess we will see. As of now 1 star its close to backbone price and a vital part of the thing causes it to brick.

Honestly really impressed with this controller. I wasn't expecting much at first but it feels really solid and the joysticks are actually really smooth. No noticeable lag at all, which was one of the biggest things I was looking for. I also really like that I can leave my phone case on. Usually with these controllers you have to take the case off which is a pain in the arse, but this one fits my phone perfectly with the case on. The pass through charging is a nice bonus too. I've used it with both my iPhone and my wife's Android and haven't had any issues. Setup was basically just plug it in and go. Overall really happy with it and for the price I think it's a great controller.

Was great at first but after only a month or so of using it the controller decided to fall apart. Buttons drifting and the spring or whatever extends the controller to your phone size....... broken, so kind of a loose fit to the phone now. If you want a good mobile gaming controller spent the money on backbone

This is seriously the best controller I've ever purchased! I got it for Father's Day a couple years ago and I take it with me on all my business trips, every vacation, oil changes, waiting rooms, everywhere! Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nvidia, mobile games, whatever game you play can be played on the Vagabond! It's size, compatibility, durability, and portability are unmatched. Easily a 10/10 every time
