These hooks are heavy duty. I had bought the ones that took up to 110 pounds. I will be using them to stick on the outside of my van wanna go camping to hang my towels, etc.

These hooks stick rather well they're very durable and perfect in size we took them on a cruise ship and used them to hang clothes on the wall and they worked amazing. They went through security at the airport and at Port security too. It was definitely helpful in a jam I'm trying to find a way to hang up what clothes and keep things off the floor. We brought them home and now we utilize them around the house like at the bar to hold the bottle opener and a towel. But don't weigh very much so they're easy to pack they're small so they fit in small places and overall the purchase was well worth it.

We used these on a cruise ship. They were easy to use and worked great. The held strong with a lot of weight attached.

Strong magnets make for easy party decorating. The wall is made of steel, so these hooks were perfect to hang all the banners we had for our 4th of July party. They are so nice I ordered a 2nd set to hang things on the refrigerator and freezer.

These are powerful hooks that do a fantastic job holding tight. I use them mostly on the white boards in my classroom, but I have one on a filing cabinet and another on a metal "bin"/office organizer/shelving unit. They are strong enough to hold up the portable speakers that I use for my PPT presentations. I also use them to hold up maps and posters during lessons, to string cords for displays that hold up student work, and to hold my hall pass. I have three in use to hold up a shoe organizer that I use to keep student objects like extra pencils, scissors, erasers and the like. I like them so much and have found them so useful that my first pack of 6 was soon followed by another purchase! In response to an earlier review about them being *too strong*, if you want to release them, take the hook and twist it slightly at an angle to 'pop' the magnetic attraction more easily. Note: if the hook begins to spin, you will need to screw it back into the base. This takes just a second, but I have found that some of the hooks will loosen over time with use. This is not a flaw, just part of the design.

Perfect for cruise - but I only ever needed about 3. We also had a set with smaller hooks and magnets but we preferred this set. My tip - only bring 4 on your cruise.

Terrific holding power. I use these hooks to hang towels and other items on my refrigerator. The magnet is very strong and will not pull free of the refrigerator without great effort. I plan to buy them again when I expand the area of my metal Wall Control pegboard to hold unusual tools. I would buy even more if they offered alternatives to hooks as long as they have the same high-quality chrome finish (so it would not rust or tarnish). Instead of hooks, I would like a large strong clip to hold a paperback book or a threaded rod to mount a towel rack. These magnets are about the ideal strength for my applications – but require care when handling. The magnets can be separated with modest effort when the plastic spacer is in place between hooks by sliding them off each other; or pulling them apart with a strong effort. I left two unconnected magnetic hooks sitting upright on my desk without the plastic spacer. While working on another project, I accidently pushed one magnet a little closer to the other magnet. The magnets flipped on their sides and jumped together. They would not slide apart with a reasonable force. I had to put the hook on one magnet in a vise and pull firmly on the hook of the other magnet with a vise-grip pliers to separate them. The advertised force of 80 lb. is probably accurate.
