desertcart.com : BaseGoal Batting Tee Baseball Tee,Softball Travel Portable Tee Tripod Stand Rubber Tee for Batting Training Practice with Carrying Bag : Sports & Outdoors Review: Top section requires umph (and lubricant) to get into bottom tube - Can't speak to the durability yet. Seems decent enough. I had some trouble getting the top part to slide into the middle tube. Mine came with the rubber tip already on the top post, taped down. Trying to cram that piece into the middle tube (has the collar on it) was tough. I eventually pulled the middle tube all the way out and spray some lubricant (silicon) on the upper post and stood them on concrete and pushed like crazy. Finally it went in a little bit, but took more pushing to get past that flange you can't see in there. Now it is more sturdy and I can slide the top tube to achieve the height I need. But that was trickier than I was expecting, instructions don't cover that and the bad photoshopped pictures they show online don't really show what you need either as far as final version. UPDATE: Last night 6/5/2023 the tee got damaged beyond repair and had to be pitched. It held up two seasons with 11 and 12 year olds whacking it. Two of my bigger, uncoordinated kids drilled it pretty good last night back to back and bent it. I would still get another one. Like the portability and considering we used it about twice a year (beginning of the season and at the end) it does the job. Review: Half the price, All the quality - My 14-year-old son had been bugging me about getting a new tee (he broke his old one) for months so I started doing some research. He was very specific about the type of tee his coaches recommended. I was more than a little shocked to discover that the tee that was recommended was around $80. I'll pay whatever it takes to help my son continue to progress with his baseball skills but that price seemed excessive so I kept searching. After several weeks of researching, reading reviews, studying up on the differences between high-price tees and budget tees, I ran across this BaseGoal Batting Tee. First thing I liked about it was the price: HALF the price of the recommended tee. Okay, so the price is good but was the savings worth it? My son has used this tee 5-7 days a week (sometimes multiple times a day) for over a month now. He absolutely loves it. Let me address a couple of the things I was looking for: 1. The tee top: This is a flexible, hand-rolled rubber (which is what my son insisted on having) compared to solid rubber. As my son's bat speed increased, I noticed he was putting a beating on the old rubber tee and eventually he destroyed it. The rolled rubber is sturdy enough to hold the ball in place but flexible when his bat hits through it. There is a lot less impact between his bat and the tee so I can see how this will last much longer than a solid rubber tee. It is also possible to replace the rolled rubber top if needed so I won't have to buy a whole new tee if that ever happens. 2. The tripod: I was skeptical about the tripod compared to a rubber plate. Some of the reviews I read mentioned the tee falling over at times. However, after 5 weeks of use, my son has not had this tee fall over even once. I will say that I gave some input the very first time we set the tee up and I encouraged him to place the legs so that 1 leg is facing away from him as he hits. I can see how if you put 1 leg facing toward you, the momentum of a hit could cause the tee to flip away from you. Regardless, he has had no problems with the tee falling over. 3. Portability: Our old tee was the standard rubber plate with adjustable rubber tee. There was no portability and carrying that thing around was beyond annoying. I wanted to make sure the new tee would be easy for him to transport when necessary. This BaseGoal folds up easily and comes with a nice little bag. In fact, my son has put the tee back in the bag after every singe use. Yes, my teenage son! It is quite remarkable and a very nice feature of the tee. This is a long review but if you're wanting to support your baseball player while looking to save some money when possible, you can purchase this BaseGoal hitting tee with confidence and use that savings like I did....on some other baseball expense. I do not recommend the "inexpensive" solid rubber hitting tee (nor do most coaches these days) because you can pay about $10 more and get this BaseGoal with the wrapped rubber; but I also do not recommend the "expensive" recommended hitting tee because you can save about $40 and get this hitting tee: Half the price but All the quality.

Good, but falls over too much
Pretty good, but seems to fall over after almost every hit. Needs more weight at the bottom.

Best hitting tee for all hitting levels
This hitting tee is the best. It is very strong, very durable and most importantly it gets the job done and more. The tee can withstand a “bad swing” where it will go flying and the ball stays put and continue to be fully intact and fully operational. The tee is very sturdy. It sits perfectly in any terrain whether it’s dirt, grass or concrete. It holds the ball well on the top cone. The best part is is that you can adjust it to your comforts of hitting in so many ways. Honestly in my opinion this tee works great and even better than a “professional tee” like the ones you would see in a major league team. This tee stands firmly and the best part is that you don’t need to have a weight holding it down, it’s base support makes it very perfect to stand on its own. The tee brings a carry bag which is the best thing you can have. It allows for easy carry and storage. The best tee I have ever bought. I would definitely without a doubt or hesitation but this hitting tee again.

Solid, worth it.
I like the portability of the unit. It also came with an extra adjustment clamp in case one breaks. Haven't put it through too much so far, but what we have done with my son has been good.

Durable!
This tee is very durable and sturdy! Comes with a nice carrying bag. Sand bag is not filled! Have to fill on your own.

Lightweight, yet sturdy and easy set-up/breakdown
Super lightweight, easy to break down and store. My kids can easily set it up themselves at ages 9 and 12. The top rubber part does fall off easily when hit, but you can push back on easily. Sturdy and able to hit both wiffleballs and regular baseballs off it. We haven't tried softballs on it. My kids know if they hit the top off the tee, they need to adjust their swings.

Glad I took my time on this purchase
I had a Tanner Tee in my cart and almost hit that checkout button. I searched and searched for a tee that would be great for our team and I’m glad I waited and looked more. For half the cost, I found this one. Skeptic at first because I couldn’t find any YouTube videos featuring this particular tee. I took the chance and changed my cart to this one and I could not be happier. This tee is everything you’re looking for. I knocked it down a few times but it was hard to knock down. It didn’t go down easy. It’s sturdy as all. Knocking it down was my fault. I was eager to play with it so I only hit a few buckets worth and it was very enjoyable. Tripod feature was dope. It wasn’t flimsy or cheap feeling. It’s great to move the height anywhere you want it. I prefer it to be a little higher than most. The team will be very satisfied with this no doubt. I’m so glad I had patience and didn’t go after the more expensive tee when this was everything and more for half the price. Thank you so much! Now I need to work on that swing! Buy it.

Fácil de transportar, ayuda para mantener un buen bateo, tiene muy buena altura, es ligera pero si con un poco de contrapeso en su base funciona a la perfección para que no se mueva de su sitio

The kids love it. Falls over sometimes or the top rubber piece comes off, but nothing major. I'd definitely recommend. Our kids are 6&12 and are solid hitters.
