It was easy to assemble. Pretty light weight to hold. For that price range, a relatively big-size aircraft model of good build quality that's quite satisfying to look at for an Airbus A380 representation.

Is very good quality and the size to is really big. I have it at my desk and love it. Only recommandation will be that the support can be clear, and that way the plane will look more like is in air and will be more in center of the view. But overall is really beautiful and quality plane model.

The SkyMarks Airbus A380 is HUGE. Very sturdy, and has a good new “default” livery. GREAT for aviation enthusiasts, and considerable as a “toy” for kids above I would say the age of 10 that know to be gentle. The landing gear is weak, so if leaned on, will break. I give this a 5/5 for size and design.

This model is an excellent model, given the price. However, from the standards of a totally blind person, I could have used a little bit more detail. While I appreciate the quick snapfit design, I would have liked to see such additional features as the ability to open the doors, and thus take a look inside and see the seats and cockpit controls. The cockpit details are instead in the form of decals, and the real Airbus A380 does not have the decals that would represent the cockpit. However, given that this model was designed for quick assembly, I can understand the somewhat lacking in physical detail. I have given this model of four out of five star rating, because it lacks physical details, such as retractable landing gear, doors that open, etc. please note that other reviewers are right. You should definitely consider your shelf, desk, or bookshelf capacity before buying this model. Due to the wing and tail spans, this is a very large model. To avoid taking up too much shelf space, I highly recommend that you keep the model on the display stand at all times. Assembly is pretty self-explanatory, depending on whether or not you can see the pictures. However, I'm totally blind, and I was able to put the entire model together on my own. The model itself is made a very solid plastic and it is highly durable. It isn't that all like models from Revelle. I would definitely recommend this model for beginning model builders, but if you're looking for more detail, I would definitely consider looking at a version of this aircraft from another company. Please note, however, that this is a model of what is currently the world's largest commercial passenger airliner and as such, this is definitely a model worth having overall.

Although kind of expensive, the detail of the model and size make the model perfect for display. The landing gear are extended and do feel slightly delicate so be careful when affixing the display stand and connecting the other pieces. Standard Airbus colors markings that you would expect to see on a real aircraft. It is a great addition to any collector or display group.

Daron Skymarks creates the best models of commercial aircraft! The parts snap together into perfect position. Like most things I purchase on Amazon, this is a model and not a toy, and should be kept out of reach of small children. Certain parts, like the wing tips are sharp. The tail comes off, the wings are separate, the landing gear is attached to the body of the aircraft and do not retract, which is my only problem with this model, and the stand comes in two pieces that easily snap together. I definitely recommend this model to any aviation enthusiast!

Skymarks Airbus A380-800 H/C New Colors 1/200 W/GEAR I admit that I do not know very much about airplanes. My cousin retired as a Brigadier General from the SD Air National Guard and also as an overseas Delta pilot. My daughter had loved flying since she was born... she always knew that was what she wanted to do. It wasn't until my cousin and my daughter talked with each other that she was obsessed with different types of airplanes and the numbers that go with them. All she could talk about lately is "Airbus A380". She is going to go to a local airport to take courses to get her pilot's license and next fall, she is going to go to college for Aviation. I just happened upon this model airplane and knew that she would freak for it. It is still in the box... I thought she should save it for her dorm room. The box said that no tools or anything is needed.... I guess you just snap the tail, wings, and landing gear on and place it on the stand...... It is a show piece. It is a bit heavy: which is great for a model airplane. I couldn't believe how lifelike the entire thing is! It is a double decker plane with so many exit doors all over the plane. You see the windows and everything. This really does look absolutely realistic! Is it a toy? Possibly. However, my daughter will love it as a decoration for her dorm room, and as inspiration to work hard toward her goal of someday flying one.

I bought this model as a gift for my manager and he was veey happy with it. Very good product except one of the wheels of main landing gear wasn't attached: it kept on coming off. Other than that, it's awesome. Definitely recommend to buy.
