Redrex Ender 3 Upgraded Aluminum Bowden Extruder with 40 Teeth MK8 Drive Gear for Creality Ender 3 V2,Ender 3 Pro,CR-10 Series and other Reprap Prusa 3D Printers

I purchased this to replace the broken plastic extruder on my CR-10 and was essentially just looking to have the machine back in action again. This arrived complete with a number of accessory parts including a much stronger bracket than that which was originally supplied. The pieces went together well and were an exact fit for the machine. I hadn't particularly purchased this as an upgrade but the supplied parts - especially the sharper 'cog' have really made the machine feel like new. This has given my prints a real quality boost which was unexpected and I'd certainly underestimated the difference that this would make. This is a really good kit at a very good price. Buy one.

I bought a metal extruder for my ender 3 after my plastic one began to fall apart. I had nothing but problems with the metal extruder. I tried everything to figure out what the under extrusion problems were until after a month or trying and failing I bought this extruder in a fit of desperation, hoping that this higher reviewed one was the solution. This extruder immediately fixed the problem. Easy to install, the instructions were handy to jog my memory on what goes where (though if this is your first time fitting an extruder I recommend a YouTube video) and after it was installed it fixed all my problems. I'm very happy.

Is a good update but is missing the slave for m3 screw that will tide up the spring i used the original spring as is shorter and didn't need to change anything in the firmware Printer ender 3 c2

The Redrex Aluminium Bowden extruder upgrade is a really in-expensive and straight forward upgrade from the stock plastic extruder that comes on the Ender 3d Pro, which was the printer I bought this to fit. It`s red powder coat looks cool too and breaks up the black. Please note this kit is upgrade for the extruder part of the motor and does not come with a motor. It came with clear instructions and can be fitted using the tools that already came with the Ender 3d pro so no extra equipment required. It took about half an hour to remove the old one and fit this one. there was only I snag. The feeder gear on my motor is pressed on, unlike older ones that are held in place by a grub screw on a flat surface, so it could not be slid off so I did the upgrade but did not use the brass gear supplied with it nor did I need the metal bracket on my printer. the filament outlet on this part is also upgraded from brass to steel which should also reduce wear and friction. The plastic extruders are known to wear quite quickly and on occasion break when the lever is compressed to release the filament, this upgrade is sturdy and eliminates the chance of that happening all in all a good upgrade that will only enhance future printing.

This extruder is well build. It was easy to install. It feels strong so hopefully won't break like the old plastic one. I upgraded to this extruder because my old one broke after a few months of use. Anyhow, with this new extruder I am currently printing non stop PLA, PETG and TPU with no issues whatsoever. As a plus for me is that it was so easy to install and no calibration of my esteps was necessary (similar gear system with original). All in all a great purchase and well worth the upgrade!

Anyhow, with this new extruder I am currently printing non stop PLA, PETG and TPU with no issues whatsoever. As a plus for me is that it was so easy to install and no calibration of my esteps was necessary (similar gear system with original). Pretty much the perfect extruder at least early on and a MUST upgrade to the plastic one from the get go.

I thought whilst I needed to replace the bowden tube on my Ender-3, that I'd also upgrade the extruder to something more durable, especially since my wood PLA was starting to wear away a notch into the plastic extruder. This was fairly easy to install, and comes with replacement parts for the extruder and gear. The new extruder seem to be good quality and looks nice. My only tip for people looking to buy this is to not overtighten the screws when installing this, as it's very easy to strip the threads.

Ich habe den Bowden-Extruder als Upgrade an einem Ender 3 V2 verbaut. Die Teile machen insgesamt einen soliden und wertigen Eindruck, insbesondere das 40-Zähne-Antriebsrad wirkt sauber gefertigt und greift das Filament zuverlässig. Nach dem Umbau lief der Filamentvorschub gleichmäßig und ohne Auffälligkeiten. Im normalen Druckbetrieb konnte ich keine negativen Auswirkungen feststellen, im Gegenteil: Der Extruder arbeitet zuverlässig und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Ein Kritikpunkt ist jedoch die beiliegende Anleitung. Diese ist recht knapp gehalten und teilweise nicht besonders übersichtlich. Für Nutzer mit etwas Erfahrung im 3D-Druck stellt der Einbau zwar kein großes Problem dar, Einsteiger könnten hier jedoch zusätzliche Informationen oder klarere Abbildungen vermissen. Insgesamt ein funktionales und solides Upgrade für kompatible Creality-Drucker, bei dem man sich im Idealfall bereits ein wenig mit dem Aufbau und der Funktionsweise von Bowden-Extrudern auskennt.

L'ho comprato per aggiornare il mio clone di prusa. Stó montando un estrusore tipo bowden con hotend V6; usato con il motore originale, facilissimo da montare, le istruzioni sono delle foto passo passo... quindi impossibile sbagliare. È tutto in alluminio, robusto e veramente ben lavorato e rifinito. Per il prezzo pagato e la velocità con cui l'ho ricevuto credo di aver pagato il giusto. Consigliatissimo come ricambio o come ho fatto io per upgrade. Comprato dal venditore Redrex3d. Spero di essere stato utile.

Le estoy dando mucho uso a mi Ender 3 y la verdad, fue sacarla de la caja, ensamblar lo poco que había que ensamblar y ponerla a funcionar a tirar kilos de filamento. Tras mucho uso, he empezado a tener algunos problemas de atascos -nada que no se pueda solucionar fácilmente- y más que nada por si las moscas, comencé a comprar ciertos recambios para prevenir su rotura. El empujador que trae por defecto, me ha resultado el mejor que he usado nunca, fácil de desbloquear y fiable hasta el final. Pero, con tanto filamento que he tirado, la boquilla de entrada había comenzado a erosionarse -si, erosionarse- haciendo un pequeño canalillo en la parte superior, que es donde roza. Así que he decidido cambiar el empujador por uno de metal, más resistente. El que he comprado y sobre el que va esta review, es exactamente igual que le que venía original, salvo por la pequeña presilla que trae el de plástico y que sirve como guiacables para el mazo de cables que van al extrusor. Pero, de nuevo nada que no se pueda solucionar con una pequeña brida. Lo tengo instalado tirando metros de filamento y estoy muy contento con el resultado. Además, su color rojo es llamativo y le da un toque de color, porqué no, a la impresora. Decididamente, recomendable.
