I upgraded from a 65" lg b6 to a 77" lg B4 and needed new sync lights. At first I was going to get the new Phillips HDMI 2.1 sync box, but it was $389 for just the box and the lights aren't included and cost another $250-300, a bit pricey for what it is. So after some searching around and watching comparison videos on YouTube I settled on these fancyleds sync light/box combo. I only use an nvidia shield so I got the 1in/1out box that came with lights for $259. Unlike Phillips hue where you buy the lights and sync box separately AND on top of that needing the bridge, this set comes with everything you need for a very reasonable price. Now on to performance, it seems quicker to adapt to the colors on screen and the colors it adapts seems more true to what's on screen. The lights are brighter and more dense than my previous hue lights, and they are long enough to go across the bottom of the TV, not something the hue lights do. During high speed action scenes there's zero lag between what's on screen and the sync lights. The first photo is from an anime called fate stay, I haven't actually watched it but it came up when searching "best hype and aura moments in anime", it's the fight between saber alter vs rider and is a great video to demonstrate sync lights as it's high quality, fast paced, and flashy giving the sync box and lights a real work out. Installation was simple, stick the lights on to the TV, connect everything through the sync box, and then download the app. I haven't dug into the app yet and it still functions perfectly so you can decide on how involved you want to be with the whole set up. Even if I can't comment on how it matches up with the govee sync box I can honestly say fancyleds blows hue out of the water, no contest.

What sets this apart is that it uses the feed directly from the receiver—no bulky camera stuck to the top of the TV like other brands. Setup was super easy, and my whole family is obsessed with how much bigger and more immersive it makes the TV feel. I previously had a similar model from another company, and it was just okay. This one, though, looks fantastic—clean, bright, and way more accurate with the colors. The clip I shared is from one of the best scenes in Game of Thrones (Battle of the Blackwater), and this was filmed at 2 PM with the lights on. It looks even brighter and more incredible in a dark room. If you're on the fence, this is the one to get.

This has created a better experience for the streaming, cable box and other things that we run through our 86" monitor. I would buy this again, and I would make sure there's a white wall behind my 86" monitor. It works but there are some complications for me. One is my 10 year old receiver amp that acts as the switcher for my input to the monitor. The Yamaha was great in its time, but I suspect that it leaks out some 'control' to the Sync device that keeps the lights on. Most of the time, we have to manually turn them on because the Yamaha keeps waking the FancyLEDs up. It was a bit tough putting the strip on when I could not remove the huge monitor easily, but that was my problem. It sync'd right up and worked. I wish it was a bit more responsive, brighter (I have a stained wood panel behind the monitor), and that the controls for fine tuning it were more intuitive. I will buy this brand again, as I hope they keep making improvements.

absolutely love my Fancyleds 2.1 Sync Box. It has completely transformed my living room into an immersive home theater. The way the LED backlighting syncs perfectly with whatever is on the screen truly makes watching TV come to life. The colors are vibrant, the responsiveness is instantaneous, and the HDMI 2.1 support ensures that I get the best possible picture quality without any lag. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their entertainment setup!

Have been using these since I got them a few weeks ago and here's some things I have noticed. The app? Wonderful. I love the different modes (sound, scene, ect...) I think the colors get bright, and I LOVE the variety of colors this can do. I appreciate there not being a camera to put up as well As far as hooking a PS5 through it though we did see some technical difficulties. Now was that user error? Probably. But some of it I don't feel like it. Playing games through the box they come out blurry, multiple settings need changed in order to help this. And this is after several reddit articles and forumns read. Right now our solution is not using the box when gaming because of this. I really didn't want to return this because I absolutely love the experience you get when watching a movie so much. So all in all if you're more tech savvy than me get the lights. If you're not? Still get them cause it's cool 😝

This is a quality product so much better than Govee sync box 2.1, the only downside is the lackluster app.

Temporary bad review. The lights are not syncing to the TV colors. I only get white lights. Waiting for support to change my rating. *UPDATE* support helped me pretty quickly and fixed the issue. Works perfectly now. 10/10

Excelente producto, muy fácil de instalar y configurar, los colores son muy precisos y el costo muy accesible en comparación a los HUE de phillips, no todas las películas lo aprovechan, seria para películas de ciencia ficción y vídeo juegos ya que es compatible con Vrr y allm para aprovechar al máximo el HDMI 2.1.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these work & the effect they have on our 75-inch TV screen is great. It makes watching everything on TV better - sport, movies, TV shows, particularly anything with bright or changing colours & shades. For winter, we've downloaded a video of a roaring fire in a fireplace with crackling sounds & the effect is amazing. It even feels warmer. I won't say it was cheap but it was definitely worth it.

Die LED Box haben wir an unserem LG B1 77 Zoll verbaut. Weiterhin ist die Box in der HDMI Schleife zwischen TV und AV Receiver. Technisch funktioniert das erstaunlicherweise mit allen HDMI 2.1 Features. Die LED samt dem ambilight Effekt sind gut - sehr gut, bei Funken Szenen flackert es manchmal, was mit der Speed Einstellung in der App auf 1% nahezu ausgemerzt ist. Die Helligkeit haben wir auf 55%, damit es sanft und angenehm hell wirkt, ohne zu betont zu sein. Die Farben sind stark, Abstufungen erkennt die Box gut. In manchen Szenen hat er problem mit gelb bzw. grün, beides zu unterscheiden. Insgesamt nach so langer Zeit hinterlasst es aber einen tollen Eindruck.
