It works to get rid of dreaded moisture droplets in my BTE hearing aid tubing! The tip is rigid and fits perfectly inside the tubing. Works much better than the similar "made for babies" bulb, which has a larger tip. Worth keeping one in your hearing aid accessories/tool kit, and one in your backpack/luggage (especially for humid destinations!) if you travel.

This is an amazing little device. Yes, the tip is fragile. It's made of hard plastic but isn't like it costs 'an arm + a leg'. Be CAREFUL + GENTLE using it. I'm fairly new to owning hearing aides that need this type of cleaning. My old, 18 yr. old, broken one was an 'in the canal' style. I'm deaf in one ear but bought 2 rechargeable hearing aides, one in my ear + one always charging. This little item is so simple + basic, but does what it's supposed to do. I get sick of reading neg. reviews on inexpensive items that the complaining buyers simply don't use right or like to complain. When children play too roughly with their toys, sometimes they break.lol

I never write product reviews, never. I'm 74 years old and this is my first. I have a profound hearing loss, and the hearing aids I use have rather large air tubes connecting the microphone to the ear molds. For some reason, my hearings aids tend to accumulate some moisture in the tubes. It's not enough to see, but the result is total loss of sound transmission. Like a flat tire or dead battery, it never happens at a good time. Last week it happened on a mountain vacation, and again today. Both times I removed the ear molds with the tube attached, blew it out with this blower, and it was instantly fixed! I highly recommend this for anyone with a similar problem.

While you could probably use an ordinary ear cleaning type of blower, this one does have a very tiny nozzel that fits typical hearing aid tubing quite well. Blowing through the tube with your mouth does not work well, due to the moisture in your breath, however after cleaning the tube with hot water and blowing it dry with this blower, the anoying plug ups have been solved on a long term basis. This thing is very valuable to keeping hearing aids working at their best.

The one we got with the kid's hearing aid has a valve so the bulb only blows in one direction. That's kinda important! This bulb doesn't have that valve so it pulls air back thru the hearing aid when it's filling back up with air. The whole point of this thing is to blow the water out, not move it around. It's inexpensive and well made. If you don't mind pulling it off after every 'blow' to fill back up, get this one.

Based on the decent performance of another of this seller's products---a hearing aid cleaning kit---I assumed (foolishly, as it turned out) that this blower would be the same. It wasn't It clearly had to be handled with much care, given the inherently fragile and delicate blower tip on the end of the squeeze bulb, so that's how I handled it. After its first use, in which it did reasonably well but not spectacularly so---deserving at that point of four stars---I put it in a protective storage area. Later, I brought it out for another use. The tip was so fragile that just touching it to something---the BTE portion, in this case---caused a separation of the tip from the bulb so that it was at an angle and ready to fall off entirely. This is a faulty design that can be made right only by reinforcing the area where the tip and the bulb join. As it is, it is not worth buying. The makers/sellers of this hearing aid blower should be ashamed to charge even 50 cents for it. It rates no stars, but the lowest rating possible is one star, so that's what it gets.

Purchased to clean my fathers hearing aids; I use them to flush tubes with isopropyl alcohol then blow air after. Works well.

I purchased this as I have seen my audiologist recently and got my noise generators fitted which are like hearing aids. They were really itchy when I first wore them and read that sometimes it's good to clean the plastic material, but I know you need to make sure no moisture gets into the electric mechanism so I found this. This was the best one for the price and had good reviews so I went for it. So far it fits the plastic bit perfectly, and is very easy to use. You just pump the blue rubber material and it pushes all the liquid out. I soaked them in some hot salty water, used this and they feel much better now. Brilliant!

Great product. Good for clean hearing aids. It lacks power but works for cleaning. I thought the air would go with more force into the device.
