FAILED AFTER 6 MONTHS
I don’t recommend this Auking projector. For the first few months, it worked well. It was easy to set up, portable, looked nice, and the built-in speaker was decent. The picture was sharp, and the auto-focus worked as advertised. After only six months, a permanent yellow tint appeared on the left side of the screen. Around the same time, the auto-focus stopped working properly, and the image became blurry no matter what I tried. For a projector that cost around $150, I expected it to last much longer. Good portability and a nice design don’t make up for a product that fails this quickly.

Excellent Projector for an Affordable Price
I've recently bought this projector, and I must say, it's a great choice for any entertainment. excelent The image quality is impressive. It boasts a 1080p resolution, projecting clear and vibrant visuals. In brightly lit rooms, the image can appear a bit washed out. It's best used in dimmer environments for optimal viewing. The projector comes packed with connectivity options. It has HDMI, USB, and even wireless capabilities, allowing easy connection to laptops, smartphones, and streaming devices. Setting it up is a breeze, and the wireless feature means fewer cables to worry about. It's a great choice for a projector if you're looking for affordability and great-quality visuals. The built-in speaker is excellent for its size. Overall This projector is a fantastic gadget for anyone needing portability without sacrificing too much on quality. It's perfect for all spaces, casual movie nights, or even backyard screenings.

Quality
The images to show you I have it at this time of day about 20 feet from the wall and the image on the wall is about 7.5 foot tall by 14 foot across This particular brand I’ve bought before I’m leaving this review in general. It’s the brand that I found easiest to manage in every day use. I used it with a streaming stick and as soon as you push a button on the streaming stick it would switch to the right input unlike any other projector I’ve had. Other projectors I’ve had require you to turn it on with a remote and then switch that remote to whatever input you want. Only then could you use your streaming stick. I do not understand why these projectors never seem to have a code that allows streaming stick volume to control the projector but that’s a trade-off. You can either get a universal remote or you can just use the original remote for on and volume. In this price range everything says it’s automatic focus and Keystone. Keystone is the most important one because what that actually means is make the edges straight in the corners 90°. Otherwise it could be some weird shape and I haven’t found one that actually does it automatically very well but once you have it set you can tell this one not to do it every time you turn it on and it worked great. Additionally I prefer to do focus myself. One thing I do like is this one allows you to turn focus readjustment on if the camera gets bumped and unless you have it hanging it will get bumped. The sound is better than okay but I really enjoy having it Bluetooth to a receiver with speakers not in surround sound but at least on all sides of me. Consequently surround sound is not the standard anymore it’s “Dolby Atmos “which is to try to make it sound like you’re in the middle of the sound which works well if you just have speakers wrapped around you. If you can afford it laser is the way to go before you buy one check to see how much a replacement light cost. It’s nice to have a screen but a screen does actually limit the size of the picture and you could actually have a picture 8‘ x 12‘ if you want just farther back from the wall. I found painting your wall a light dove grey makes the picture great you don’t want a shiny flat surface. I also found this works well during the day if I close the drapes and don’t have you know 120° direct Sunday. The next jump to full indoor regardless of light conditions as significantly more expensive so if you’re gonna do that I would really just really consider laser. I also really love the idea of the ultra short throw being right up against the wall but it turns out you have to buy a device to move it away from the wall when you want to use it so I keep coming back to a projector. Ultimately this one has a stand that I would pay $75 for without question I have not found one that is as smooth reliable manipulable and actually attractive. So if you buy this one and you decide you love it and you wanna upgrade to laser when it dies keep the stand it’s worth it

Good projector. Works even at daytime!
Updating my review from 3 to a 4 because they have great customer service. Their CS is extremely responsive! They made sure to get back to me without the need for me to follow up on my email about an issue logging in to Disney+ I would have given this projector a 5 if I am able to download HBO MAX and if it doesn't heat up so fast. I hope the latter doesn't become a problem in the future. Overall, I'm happy with this projector. My photo and video don't give justice coz it's definitely better in person. Definitely great quality for its price. __________________ Just received my AuKing smart projector and here's my review so far: Pros: This projector is really bright. I watched Netflix in broad daylight and the diaplay wasimpressive even if my room wasn't putch dark. It was relatively easy to operate. I just plugged it in and it connected to my wifi as soon as I put in my password Auto correction works well too Sound is loud enough but would do better a with soundbar. Nonetheless, it's still good It works in small spaces without the need to move the projector away from the screen Cons: It heats up pretty fast. I hope the internal fan is enough to cool it off I cannot download or log in Max and Disney+. I cleared history and cache; turned it off and on, but I still can't download HBO Max. The prompt says it's unsupported I am unable to log in Disney+ despite it being in "My Apps". It keeps saying I need to connect to the internet even when it's already connected or that there's unusual traffic on my account. I will continue to explore its features. The only reason I got this projector is its claim that it has access to a million apps. I'm giving it a 3-star for now because I'm unable to do so. Will update if and when I'm able to get a solution about this.

Some issues
Update after a month: the picture quality is still great. Noise level on fan is still decently quiet. I was unable to have decent sound quality from Bluetooth and opted into computer speakers connected with an auxiliary cable and sound quality now. One concerning issue I had was that the projector would turn itself on every morning. It had the latest update and customer service is responsive however I ended up finding the solution in disconnecting the projector itself from wifi. I solely use a Roku device for streaming and no longer rely on the sub par operating system. Again picture quality is great but as a “smart” device it is lacking. Initial review: As a basic projector it works great. The auto focus and leveling features work perfectly. The first issue I encountered was with connecting to my Bose sound flex speaker. The volume was very quiet when set to max and I could not manually turn it up on the speaker itself. The built in speakers are “loud enough” but similar to the quality you would get from laptop speakers. Not efficient for movie night in my opinion. My fix to this was purchasing computer speakers that can connect with an Auxiliary cable. Second issue is the operating system. For Netflix and prime video it seems fine so far, but for Disney plus and Hulu (which are the only available apps) it is very slow and would constantly buffer (I am connected to ATT fiber wifi). You would be better off having a fire stick attached. The third issue I’ve encountered is that my specific one seems to be turning on by itself at 7 am every morning. I’ve gone through the settings and there doesn’t seem to be an auto on feature or anything to disable this from happening. I rate this three star as it does have good picture quality, but as a smart projector it is lacking.

super crispy image. excellent customer service.
updated review: 11/2025 replacement projector developed an issue. it would turned on but would not project. manufacturer was quick to send another replacement. at least my setup is simple enough that it’s not too hard to swap. 5/13/25 the seller reached out to me after seeing my review (i wasn’t upset enough to reach out to them prior to my review). they were so quick to do whatever possible to fix the issue. in my case it was a replacement projector. the replacement presents with no issues. no foreign specks. super crisp image. excellent. i will continue recommending this projector to people. original review: 5/6/25 I ordered this projector and loved it. However, within a few days of using it (maybe 10 hours total), some spots appeared that wouldn't go away when the dust filter was cleaned or when the image was in focus. I figured it was a fluke. Ordered another, returning the first. The second had a very large spot (looks like a bug leg to me) that I was unable to resolve. Again, loving this projector, rather than return I got a replacement. It has been amazing. Until I started to notice that at some point after watching Netflix for a bit, the focus goes out. It really sucks me out of some really good movies. Quite frustrating. I should note that I have only had this projector for just over a month. Maybe you'll get lucky. Maybe you won't be as bothered as I am. If you purchase this, I wish you the best of luck.

Great while it lasted
So I got this projector as an option to use in my bedroom as a TV since I had a giant blank wall and no desire to buy a screen I’d barely use. But this projector was super impressive. It was bright enough to view while a light was on in the corner, the 1080p for the price was great, and the fans were never distracting in volume. However, too much light could cause issue with display brightness so I don’t know if I could justify using this outdoors and it is relatively heavy so I don’t see myself traveling with it. Plus it’s nice that it has speakers, but don’t expect much. But, after about a year and change of use, the lamp got super dim then completely died. I don’t know why or what caused it and I can’t find any parts to repair it or even if it is repairable. This did serve the purpose of showing me that I do want a projector in place of a TV for situations like this but be wary in case you want something that is repairable if it doesn’t last the advertised time.

Pésima compra
El proyector se prende por sí solo en la noche y en 2 meses de uso ya no da imagen

Piezas faltantes
Le faltan tres cables y el control remoto, no hay manera de conectarlo ni usarlo sin esas piezas.
