Stern Hungarian moustache wax 8ml, 13 g (Pack of 1)

Low natural odour, thin wax that is easy to apply and dries to a firm hold. Apply a small amount to an index finger, share with the other index finger and rub these on your thumbs and apply to moustache evenly and style. Can be brushed or combed through for even distribution. Washes out with warm water. This is a competition wax and is used by those who like a styled finish or to curl the ends. The product will air dry , if you are in a hurry, use a hairdryer on low heat. The wax is quite thick, after each use, hold the container from the end and shake to get the product to go to the cap end. Store on the cap end.

I had been looking for a good wax to hold my thick/stubborn mustache for sometime. This is perfect, acts like a glue, but hold is great !

I’ve got a tight curled moustache 🥸 and with normal waxes they tend to allow the curls to roll back and not sit up straight. I tried this product last year and not turned back. It holds all day, easy to use and I can mould my moustache like a lady doing her make up in the mirror on the way to work easy. It takes very little product to get the results I strive to get. I've been using this wax for nearly 3 years now and its AMAZING!! when I first started using it, it did have the strange smell that other reviews have mentioned, however they seem to have changed the formulation and this has no longer been the case for the last year or so, it pretty much smells of nothing now. This is not beeswax based so it dosen't leave the claggy lumpy bits that you find with those types of wax, this sets into a very firm smooth hard finish that is extremely durable, yet washes out easily with soap and water. The wax has the consistency of toothpaste straight out of the tube and is quite wet, I've found the best way to use it is to squeeze out about a pea sized bit onto a finger, then apply a small amount to one side of my moustache, work it for a few seconds into roughly the shape you want. Then repeat with the other side of your moustache, by the time you have done this then the first side has dried enough to be styled (best to do this with a tiny amount of wax on your fingers) into the finished shape you want and will hold firm, repeat this again with the other side and voila one styled moustache that is good for a whole day!!! Once you have tried this wax I would be amazed if you ever use anything else, its awesome!!!!!

Found this to be a great Clubman style alternative. If you don’t like the gunky beeswax type waxes then this is really easy to apply and sets well and strong. I’ve got a lot of grey/ white hairs in mine and this dries a bit clearer and less white than clubman so I’m leaning towards this at the moment. Old school classic that does a good job without any of the more typical faux Victorian / skulls / monocles/ dandy/ motorbike gang stylings

Positives: Easy to apply Spreads into the moustache more readily than solid wax Inexpensive Negatives: I didn't find it had a particularly good hold I found the smell strong and deeply unpleasant, like vomit or as others have noted sour milk. Given that the source of the smell is immediately under my nostrils, as soon as I got my hands on an alternative I ditched this. Despite throwing it away after a week, it was cheap enough that I don't regret having tried it, and it's clear from other reviews that the smell is more apparent to some gents than to others.

I've previously only used beeswax-based wax, which smells great but needs warming up and has a tendency to set into lumps if you're not very careful applying it. This is significantly easier to use - it has the consistency of toothpaste and disappears into the moustache quickly with an even distribution. Quick comb through and smooth into shape with my fingers, and it's done. What I dislike is the smell. Someone else descibed it as "sour milk", which is spot on. It's not particularity strong, but it's also not something I'd choose to hold right under my nose. It dissipates quickly, but rather spoils the application for me. The hold seems pretty reasonable - particularly since it's so thin compared to other waxes. If you're not put off by the smell then I'd recommend this, and to be fair it's cheap enough to try.

I received a different product to the one I ordered, I made enquiries and the Supplier was apologetic and I was assured the product I received 'Brother's Love'- Echt bayerische Schnurrbartwichse is superior to my original order. I can confirm this one does what it promises, long term hold of my stubborn moustache and a very pleasant aroma, I might yet try the other one sometime but in the meantime I am happy with what I received. I do agree with other comments, a larger amount then the 10ml tube would be an advantage. I give four stars on the premise that I received the wrong product and the small size the product is available in.

Makkelijk te verwerken/aan te brengen, stevige houvast. Wel zwak tegen vocht. Een regenbui overleeft het niet. Hoge luchtvochtigheid buiten in de zomer en winter vermindert het aantal uren dat het goed blijft zitten. Tube in het begin dient zachtjes te worden ingeknepen anders komt er teveel uit, vanaf 2/3e moet je wat harder knijpen. Laatste 20% is echt persen. Tube kan beter.

Cela fait 40 ans que j'ai la moustache et barbe. Je dois avoir 4 ou 5 gel différents, quand celui ci est arrivé en 24h et que j'ai vu le tube si petit ,j'ai cru à une erreur mais le produit est terrible, efficace sans odeur et surtout il en faut juste une goutte tellement il est magique
