I bought this Evolution 15” Metal Cutting Chop Saw recently, and I am honestly impressed with how well it performs. From the first cut, I could immediately tell this machine is built with quality. The cuts come out super clean and accurate, with no rough edges and almost no sparks compared to traditional abrasive cut-off saws. The saw feels very safe and stable thanks to the solid cast aluminum base and strong clamp. The blade stays steady, and the motor is powerful but smooth—no vibration or struggle even through thicker metal. What really surprised me is how fast it cuts. It goes through steel like nothing, and the finish is so clean that I barely need to do any grinding afterward. It saves me time, and the overall cutting experience is way better than any chop saw I’ve used before. I absolutely love this machine. For anyone working with metal, this saw is a game changer—high quality, clean cuts, fast, and safe. Definitely worth the purchase!

Cuts smooth and fast. Wish blades would last longer on oilfield pipe.

I’ve used an abrasive chopsaw for years and finally upgraded to this metal cutting saw. A lot quieter, doesn’t throw sparks all over the garage or cutting area, cuts quickly and accurately, and the model I purchased has a soft start and brake. Love it for my welding hobby and even though it costs more than an abrasive chopsaw, I will never go back! If you can splurge and use it often, get one!

This is an excellent saw and a huge step-up for my (hobby) metal shop! Much faster and cleaner cuts on tubing, etc. It did not include the hex wrench needed to install the blade but instead came with one that was too small. I called Evolution and they FedEx'd one to me, but it also was the wrong size. After that I just took one that is the right size from another set of hex wrenches. Still, awesome saw!!!

There is simply no better way to cut metal within its capacity. Razor clean, straight, cold cuts. Well made and designed clamp, good light, solid build with no play. 10/10

This saw has two disappointing flaws. First, the angle stops are imprecise, so 45 and 90 degree cuts come out inaccurate and have ruined some of my projects. It's fine for rough work like oil-pipe fencing, but not for precise fabrication. Second, the clamp doesn't hold smaller stock well. While clamping 1" bar stock at 45 degrees, the stock slipped out, causing the blade to warp, break, and slam into the saw base -- and my nearly new blade now needs a $150 replacement. It's a shame, because the cut speed and quality are very impressive. Still, I wish I'd bought a different, probably pricier, alternative. I've included a picture showing where the blade deflected into the base.

It checks all the want boxes. If on the fence it will not disappoint.

I’ve been using this for four months. Its one of the best purchases I’ve made for the shop.

great product and fast delivery. I wish it had come with a 15" blade ,but I can live with that for now.
