These shields worked great after my cataract surgery. The shield and tape the Dr gives you doesn’t stick very well. The adjustable elastic band on these keeps the shield in place.

Due to recent cataract surgery I had to wear an eye shield for a week. The one I was given immediately after the surgery was taped on. This is so much better because it has the adjustable strap to hold it in place. Much easier to put on and it stays in place ! I purchased the pack of two which includes one for both the left eye and the right eye. Made the experience a lot easier for me.

I got the AMZVIO eye shield after having to scrub tape residue off my face after my first eye. They are a lot easier to put on and take off, and the best part, no tape! They have a lot of adjustment for size, so they will fit a pin head like mine, or a large Peyton Manning head! ( Hey that's what Eli says!) Anyway, I have been using the shield when sleeping and during nap time and they work great. They are inexpensive, which is great after spending so much on my surgery. They don't seem to be quite as deep as the ones I got from my vision surgery center, but they do work well. But, not for pirates, because they are clear. Arrr....

I love that there is a left and a right. I was looking for a better patch then I got from the eye doctor. The elastic string keeps the shield in place without sticky tape that rips my skin. I have been having eye problems with age.. this shield design helps keep the issues to a minimum. It's very important that I wear them often or my eyes get very irritated when I sleep. Great design! Nice quality, easy fit, and much better than taping it on! Clear with air holes, so I can still see a bit as I'm getting ready for bed.

Served the intended purpose after cataract surgery. It prevented me from rubbing my eyes in my sleep. Mission accomplished. 10/10

If you are having any type of eye surgery GET THESE IN ADVANCE. You won’t regret it. I had cataract/glaucoma surgery on my right eye. The hospital gave me a clear plastic shield almost identical to these but instead of an elastic band they provided paper tape to tape it to my face. The tape on my face was awkward and uncomfortable and also I couldn’t open my eye once it was taped on. The tape covered some of the holes on the shield so airflow was restricted a bit, too. I thought there must be a better way and searched here. This fits so much more comfortably. I can open my eye or wear it for sleeping, as I was instructed to do. It’s VERY comfortable! The only negative was the fault of Amazon and they delivered it a day later than it was supposed to be. As a medical supply, delivery times are importantly to adhere to. This came with 2 shields. - one right and one left. I’m having surgery on my left eye in a couple weeks so I’ll be prepared in advance! Totally worth spending a few dollars for the comfort of something that will make recovery restrictions so much easier!! They should give these out at the hospital! UPDATED: The elastic on these is not strong to hold the shield in place. While sleeping it moves off your eye. The shield could slide into your eye and that in itself could be dangerous after eye surgery. Unfortunately, I had to change my rating.

Brilliant, for my dads cataract surgery. The hospital eye shield with tape are messy, and hard work re taping after using eye drops. Would highly recommend for comfort, quality and worth the price

Eye shields did their job post cataract surgery to protect the eyes. Bit uncomfortable to wear. But for 2 weeks per eye it was not bad.
