Cuisinart 7" Stainless Steel Cleaver with Blade Guard

Great chopping knife for this price point. Arrived very sharp, weight wise I feel is light but that's fine, handle feels nice and I've always loved this type of chopping knife. Steel used feels kinda cheap tbh but at this price point I'm not expecting much.

It’s sharp and sometimes has trouble getting into the sleeve because the opening is too narrow compared to the multi colored set which has a sturdier sleeve and wider opening to insert tip first but this is blade insert down wards. I did want a straight vs curved blade to use as scrapper to pick up the cut items which I do. But it matches my set of cuisinart knives and it cuts well.

So far, it’s held its edge quite well, and it’s both comfortable to use and easy to clean. *Most budget knives on Amazon arrive razor-sharp but dull quickly—that’s just the trade-off at this price point. I use a sharpening-rod to maintain the edge, and it does the job nicely. I didn’t buy this knife expecting premium sharpness; I bought it for its wide, practical blade. It’s excellent for chopping ingredients and then scooping them straight into a bowl or pan.

This cleaver is O.K. It is medium weight with good balance. All one piece construction. This is not a Bone cleaver. More like a Chinese style chopping cleaver. This is a vegetable and meat cleaver. I do recommend this cleaver. Use a shorter heavy duty thick spined cleaver to cut bones.

This is a good brand for a cleaver. This knife isn’t dull and has great cutting capabilities. I was able to chop through some chicken legs and thighs with ease. This cleaver can easily be cleaned with caution and put away. I really like how this cleaver comes with a blade cover. That blade cover is perfect so nobody can accidentally hurt themselves. This cleaver was affordable and is good quality. I would recommend buying.

This Cleaver is really nice. It has a cover for the blade which is very sharp. Fits my hand very well. Not to heavy and it's stainless steal. Haven't used it yet. Will right a second review after l use it. It seems like it will do the job. Love the fact that it has a good blade cover. Seems sturdy. I recommend it.
