This would have helped me verify compatibility before ordering. Despite having to return the product due to incompatibility with my specific vehicle, I still rate this 5 stars based on its quality, design, and ease of use. I would recommend this product to others, provided they verify their vehicle's compatibility beforehand.

Perfect solution for a clean DIY dash cam install. Plugged directly into the rearview mirror with zero wire clutter and worked immediately. The parking mode options are easy to configure. Highly recommend if you want a professional-looking setup without hardwiring. Installed on 2024 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Turbo - had to fully start and turn off for parking mode to work (not just ACC power).

install is a bit confusing however it is simple. they now offer an even smaller unit w/o visible wires & has a display (appears to be for fords only?) .. plugs into rearview mirror so should be simpler to install. new one does look more "professional". i do like this one (i have a toyota camry).

Worked for our 2016 RX-350. Took me about an hour (takes some courage to pop off the mirror cover in the car!). Only provides power when the ACC is on - no parking mode available - but a quick, cheap, and easy way to get a dash cam powered without running wires all over the front of your car.

this item doe's not work in parking mode on Australian model lexus. i have been told by dongar that Amazon is not an authorized reseller of dongar products and as such they are not liable for any refunds.

Installed for my dash cam on 6th gen Toyota 4Runner. Works great, install was a bit finicky to get the plastic trim off (but that is the car dependent, not the product). Otherwise has been working without issue. Dash cam turns on consistently whenever car is started. Much cleaner than having to run wiring. Would recommend.
