As good as the Original Samsung OEM filters - but better in one regard...
I used to listen closely to an appliance salesman (or saleslady) in the past, when they said that, "You should always purchase the brand name OEM filters because they are better." Problem is that those OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) filters can become ridiculously expensive. In my case, with my Samsung 29 cu.ft. refrigerator, the OEM filters can range from $60 to $80 for just one filter. So what to do? Well, I also found out a long time ago that good 3rd party filters (like this Waterdrop - and certain other brands) are just as good as the OEM versions. But more so, you can get packs of 4–5 filters for only around $35 to $50. It's a no-brainer, really. So I transitioned a long time ago to purchase the 3rd party models exclusively. Heck, even appliance stores sell 3rd party filters, so that tells you something. And Amazon has the largest selection of 3rd party filters (and OEM versions) that I've seen. Highly recommended!
