Very good took all the gloss paint off external brick in the porch. Would recommend.

I’ve bought this for a craft project and I can honestly say that it does strip powder coating from bottles. My first go isn’t great but that was my fault not the product. Delivery isn’t the fastest for this item, I hadn’t realised it was imported, again my fault for not reading. Just make sure you allow time. It did arrive within the time suggested.*I was testing this on an old bottle already scratched so it looks rough. I also didn’t leave the vynal on for 24 before applying so fingers crossed for next time.*if unlike me you are using it for it’s intended purpose it works, not much odour snd a nice thick consistency for application.

I use citristrip for upcycling projects. It’s pretty good and doesn’t have a toxic smell at all. No need for a face mask. Don’t leave it overnight though as you can as it kind of dries up leaving the crap you’re trying to take off back on! Leave it an hour or two wrapped in clingfilm and you are golden!

It probably is a good product but it certainly didn't remove the varnish off our doorstep. I did as per the instructions and I thought initially it was working, but on closer inspection it was obvious it had hardly penetrated.

Bought for a trainee decorator to try and she thinks it's great.

Doesn’t work… left on as suggested, didn’t do anything such poor quality. Left on longer and still didn’t do anything. Applied a thicker coat and still didn’t do anything

Worked better than I ever could have imagined. My goal was remove paint from a RTIC Tumbler as the paint was starting to chip off. I covered the tumbler with the gel, wrapped it with cling wrap, and let it sit overnight. The next day, I unwrapped the tumbler and the paint litterally fell off as a single piece with no force other than gravity except for the bottom of the tumbler which I missed. Incredible especially because RTIC discontinued their stainless steel "color" of tumbler which is my favorite. It smells great and could easily be the first overall pick on Pardon My Take's mount rushmore of "non-edible things that look delicious". Seriouslsy though, wear gloves and be sure to wash thoroughly after. I'm sure these chemicals are nothing to be trifled with.

Okay. So first off I want to say that when I received it I noticed how small it was (next to a pen for reference). I had more than enough I just I guess it would have been more for the price. To me it’s a little overpriced. Also it looks orange on the website but is actually pink.I did a test run on a small area after waiting 30 and it came out pretty okay.For all the warning on the bottle I have to say it wasn’t as dangerous as I did skip a few precautions and as long as you wash it off immediately you’ll be fine. I mean your skin might peel for a bit but it isn’t painful. I mean not that you should be irresponsible and use latex gloves on a latex paint remover like I did I just didn’t have rubber ones and I wanted this done. You could react differently so be safe. All I had was a thin amount of skin peeling off my finger and my palm where the glove broke.The gel was very sticky and thick. I used like half the, again pretty small, bottle. But it got the job done. It didn’t leak anywhere which was appreciated so I could put it where I wanted.After the test run I covered the entire area I needed with the product and put plastic over it. I let it sit overnight as per the instructions and scraped it off in the morning. No it certainly did not come off easily (it took hours) but it did the job. If this was a spray, an effective spray, it would be more easier to apply but it isn’t. Applying the gel was still pretty easy (1 pour gel, 2 smooth it out 3 hurry and take off the latex glove off) but the scraping off? 🙅‍♀️I did have an area where I put a resin based wall plaster on the table (trying and ultimately failing to get a smooth finish) and I wasn’t sure if it would be able to remove it. But lucky me because it came right off.After scraping it is absolutely essential to have a toothbrush and a rag it you want it to look clean. Maybe you could was it off with a soapy rag instead but for my it was a lot of scraping with the toothbrush, wipe with rag, more scrubbing, the more wiping, quick enough so what it scrubbed off doesn’t dry back on. And the areas of the rag must be clean enough not to smug the paint mixture back on.And voila! A effective removal!Mmmm… okay so a job well done? Why four stars and not five?THE SMELLI do not care if there are no harmful fumes when it smells that bad. Reminds me of blood and had me sneezing all day!! Would be absolutely wonderful if not for the smell.TLDR: kinda small, pink, scraps off decently, don’t get it on yourself, scrub w/ a toothbrush, and BEWARE OF SMELL!
