Audikast 3 – Bluetooth TV Transmitter for 2 Headphones | aptX Adaptive, Volume Control and 100ft Long Range; Works with Optical or AUX TVs, Not Compatible with HDMI-Only TVs.

My wife and I have different ideas about what an appropriate volume for watching television is. She has a pair of JBL Bluetooth headphones and I have a pair of VOKALEN Hyper Pros. I like this device because you're free to use what you've got and aren't locked into a brand of headphones you don't like. I split the AUX out of the TV to go to our soundbar and to this device so we can use both. Setup was really as easy as putting the headphones in pairing mode and pressing the button on the device; They find each other easily. The audio is clean and stable and I was a little surprised at the range. I didn't think it would go as far as it does. And the device is smaller than I expected too so it's easy to find a place to put it.

I purchased from Amazon a Audikast 3 wireless audio transmitter by Avantree to use with tv. Two people can pair headphones to this transmitter. Distance from tv is great. Easy setup but was able to reach out to Advantree with a few questions. Spoke with the Advantree representative who was very tech savy her name was Riza.

No instruction manual. Confusing Label on product blocking display. Awful tech support that on phone requires ZENdesk registration. Why should I want to have to enter credentials , just to access an instruction manual that should have been included with my payment for the product?!?!?!?!?! Their online chat is NOT active, and after providing name and email, THEN you are told to wait for reply! NO! That is not how customers should be treated. The actual tech support is useless.. It fails to reply to questions already asked, and what is most unusual for tech support - the emailed replies, offer no reference or thread to previous questions or communications, making any follow up unavoidably stressful and difficult ! What is worse, is that their tech support replies, repeatedly ignored, my comments. They finally insisted that their responses must have landed in spam. Well, I checked, and they did not! So tech support could not even communicate effectively about their communication failure! Auracast is an emerging technology that soon will be wildly popular. So manufacturers are rushing to claim compatibility. It is expected to be widespread in most public places allowing visitors to hear, via their ear pods, or hearing aids, what is muted for those otherwise, not interested. It will clarify sound for hearing impaired hearing aid users, and can offer multiple sound tracks, selected by the listener. In homes it can, and this should be active and possible right now, for multiple listeners whether it be in headphones, ear pods, or hearing aids, to the same source - a tv, computer, or other streaming source. I was not able to connect anything to this. Not able to find instructions that actually worked. Amazon Tech Support, at multiple levels, was not able to help. Avantree's website instructions were useless. ALL BAD. I gave this one star, but really it is just a big ZERO to be returned!

I was in need of a bluetooth transmitter that had optical and line in, as well as be able to connect 2 devices at once. Looks like I found one of the better ones. Pairing was a breeze... after I found out the power adapter I tried to use wasn't powerful enough. You're going to need a decent power plug. Otherwise you'll be sitting there wondering if something is wrong. It just needs MORE POWER! heh Using the line in hooked up to the headphones output on my stereo. Mine doesn't have rca out, nor any other way but headphones output. It's one of those cheap combo stereos. It really works great! I've used a couple other Bluetooth transmitters and they didn't sound anywhere near as good as this one. The bonus of aptx adaptive is a huge plus. That works with my new Heavys headphones. The latency isn't noticeable to me at all. It's even better using the optical input. It's crisp. It's clear. This simple transmitter is a fantastic, simple, and inexpensive upgrade. It's well worth it in my opinion.

Item was smaller than I expected. Was very easy to set up using the intructions (e-manual). Works very well and no issues with lag. Sound quality was good (for bluetooth). Tested with a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones. Note that sound quality will also dependent other factors like the music source , bluetooth version and codec supported by your headphones. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the Bluetooth signal appears to interfere quite badly with the 2.4Ghz wifi band. My TV kept dropping its wifi connection and connection speed also suffered. This may not be an issue if your tv's wifi supports higher frequencies (e.g. 5Ghz) I placed it a bit further from the tv, but the supplied optical cable is a bit short. If you encounter similar issues, may be worth considering getting a longer optical cable to have the unit further from the tv. I also turn the device off when I'm not using it.

I’ve used this to connect Bose headphones to an older LG TV. It works very well. Easy connection to the optical port on the TV and the headphones picked up immediately. Sound quality for watching TV is good. No lag.

Works GREAT when it works. Set up & initial pairing was a breeze. I was getting rid of satellite & their box allowed 2 headsets to be paired. TV only allowed one which meant the streaming service only allowed one. This could have been the ideal solution and it does work, just not as well as I'd hoped. Wife & I have two different brand/type headsets and each of us have a couple of each (one of ours invariably dies half way through a program we're watching). One of my headsets works immediately when I turn it on other one has to be manually "found" by this box probably 80% of the time. Same with hers. OK, I can deal with that. Not ideal but I can deal with it. The real problem is that somehow in the box often when she turns her headset on, it kills the sound from mine. AND here headset says it is paired but she has no sound. There follows a round or two of turning everything off (including the box) turning things back on and maybe it will work and maybe not. Try again. Stand on my head & rub my belly counterclockwise sometimes helps (just kidding but sometimes it feels like that might be the only thing I haven't tried). I connected via the optical cable & the "no latency" seems to be true. I gave it three stars because of the hassle & not knowing if it is going to work and what it will take to get it going if it doesn't. And maybe if I could, I'd give it 3 1/2 as it allowed me to ditch the satellite.

This is an easy to set up and use Bluetooth transmitter. It paired easily with Bose QC headsets.

What a great product for the bedroom. Bought this for me and the wife and a couple of bluetooth headphones so that after the kids are in bed we can watch some TV together without having to worry about the volume waking the kids up. It does come with instructions but there is a qr code right ontop of the box and it walks you through the steps so simply I can't imagine having a hard time setting it up. It did take me a few minutes as I am not the most tech savvy person but again the instructions were super easy to follow!

Działa jak powinien, dźwięk super jakości na coxial złączu, nie zrywa, nie zauważyłem opóźnienia w stosunku do wyświetlanego obrazu. W końcu mogę wieczorem oglądać filmy na odpowiedniej głośności, nie przeszkadzając przy tym innym domownikom. Dla starszych TV bez BT rewelacja.
