I read a lot of reviews before chosing a device for measuring the blood glucose and ketone and this tool is the best. Precise results, very easy to use. Just put the lancet in the pen and set to 3 or 5 if cold hands. You will quickly find your better spot for the puncture. For me it is in the middle of top part of my index. Turn the mojo on, after set up (I just kept an easy set up with every details off, you can change it later if you like), press and hold 3 sec so the strip icon signal gki. Insert the strip glucose first, the flame on top of the strip icon will signal that it is ready to take the blood, puncture (you just need a small drop of blood, if your hand are cold activate circulation by massaging) and put your finger with the drop of blood, gently on the top of the strip. The strip will suck up the blood and the mojo will beep when has taken enough. Meanwhile you can massage your finger and get another drop ready for the ketone test. When the reading comes you can eject the strip with the white button at the back of the mojo, and insert the ketone strip. You have 3 minutes to do this. If by chance the mojo switches off, do not worry the reading is recorded. Download the app, synchronise and you will see it. Excellent device!

This is a great way to check how your glucose and ketone levels are doing. Shame the extra strips are quite expensive, but worth it to keep you on track on your keto journey.

Whilst the actual machine is good & appears accurate. My issue is with the strips. They went out of date so quickly and are now unusable. Thats a LOT of wasted money. The reviews on replacement strips are so poor. Sadly I am now having to research an alternative machine as I am not taking a chance on more strips for this as long term I feel it will cost far more to stick with the Keto Mojo.

I decided to invest in this to evaluate how deep my keto diet was putting me into ketosis. Which to my absolute shock, was not very much! 😳 This showed me which foods (and even supplements) were sabotaging my efforts. Without this gadget, I wouldn’t have known that 0 carb cheese like Aged Gouda or Parmesen was knocking me out of ketosis. I later learned that whilst these cheeses have no carbs, a protein in them triggers insulin to be released. It’s been a true education to see what works and what doesn’t. No more guesswork and I can feel and see the results have translated into improvements in my health. Stomach inflammation has gone and my trousers are falling down with how much visceral fat I have lost. So easy to use and the finger prick is virtually pain free when you set the insert depth low (I use 1 instead of 5). My dog stepping on my foot hurts more! Quite possibly the best thing I have ever purchased of Amazon 🙏

gran strumento, grande ausilio, il kit ha già tutto. certo il test per i corpi chetonici costicchia se si vuole farlo una o più volte al giorno, ma di meglio e di più economico non mi pare ci sia nulla!

Ich habe nach einer zuverlässigen Möglichkeit gesucht, festzustellen und zu tracken, ob und wie tief ich in Ketose bin. Da die Prüfung mit Urinteststreifen nur sehr ungenau ist, wollte ich lieber die Blutwerte messen - was mit dem Keto-Mojo perfekt funktioniert. Ursprünglich hatte ich mir dafür das FreeStyle Precision Neo gekauft, jedoch sind die Keton-Teststreifen für dieses Gerät um ein Vielfaches teurer. Hingegen finde ich - auch wenn das Keto-Mojo in der Anschaffung des Starterkits bei aktuell ca. 60 EUR liegt und damit über dem Preis anderer Geräte -, die laufenden Kosten im Vergleich als eher günstig. Das Besondere ist, dass das Keto-Mojo Blutzucker- und Ketone-Messung zum GKI (Glukose-Ketone-Index) zusammenfasst und so eine noch bessere Aussage zum eigenen Ketose-Level zulässt. App und Webanwendung sind durchdacht und aus meiner Sicht auch gut zu bedienen - beide liefern neben den aktuellen Werten auch die langfristige Speicherung und somit Auswertungsmöglichkeiten über verschiedene Zeiträume. Bzgl. der Genauigkeit: Das FreeStyle Precision Neo und das Keto-Mojo liefern jedes Mal die gleichen Messwerte, wenn ich sie gegeneinander antreten lasse -> Perfekt! Wer kein anderes Gerät für einen Vergleichstest zur Verfügung hat, kann aber auch die mitgelieferten Testflüssigkeiten nutzen, um die Messgenauigkeit des Keto-Mojos zu (über-)prüfen. Fazit: Nach mittlerweile mehr als 150 Messungen bin ich immer noch so zufrieden wie am ersten Tag und möchte das Keto-Mojo heute nicht mehr missen. Deshalb gibt es 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir!

I dislike the fact the strip refills are 65 euros. The machine works very well and display is clear, but the straps should not be more expensive than the machine.
