We bought this luggage set in black for our son for a wedding gift. He absolutely loves the set. They are lightweight and have a shiny sleek look. The hard case is heavy duty and the inside has plenty of room. The wheels roll with ease.

I purchased this luggage set during the October Prime Day sale at a significant discount. The larger suitcase is very spacious and can hold an impressive amount—over 20 pairs of jeans along with 3 coats and 5 hoodies. The smaller suitcase is an ideal size for a week-long business trip. While some bags marketed as “carry-on” end up being oversized at the airport, this one truly meets carry-on requirements. I had no issues bringing it on board with Alaska and United, and I expect it will be acceptable with most other airlines as well. Regarding scratch resistance, it is not completely scratch-proof when checked, but no hard-shell luggage truly is unless carried on. For me, its level of durability is perfectly acceptable. Both suitcases are easy to use once the lock is set for the first time. I do not prioritize aesthetics as long as the luggage performs well, and in that respect, I appreciate the simple and functional design. The only drawback is that the smaller suitcase does not include a built-in lock. Although it is designed for carry-on use, there may be occasions when it needs to be checked, in which case additional security would be beneficial. I purchased a separate lock to address this. It would be an improvement if Samsonite included a lock on the smaller suitcase as well.

Durable luggage! This is a great brand. I've had the 2 suitcases for a year now. They hold up to tough travel conditions and I really like the lock on the larger one- came in handy in Europe.

On my last trip my suitcase was damaged during the flight so I needed to buy another suitcase. Amazon to the rescue! How can you go wrong with Samsonite? This set is flimsy! It’s hard to zip open or close. I was shocked at Samsonite’s lack of quality. Lesson learned.

Pair it with packing cubes; you're all set for any trip! The 360-degree spinning wheels are a game-changer, making it effortless to navigate through airports. I travel a lot for work and family trips, and we efficiently use all three suitcases. After six months of heavy use, they’ve held up great—just a few scuffs here and there, but nothing has broken, and they still look fantastic. They're reliable, durable, and definitely worth the money!
