Excellent, similar to 9xxb. Perfect for black colour without the dustiness
I have had difficulty finding these and then found them on amazon and now use them all the time. They combine the advantage of charcoal without the dustiness ( they are similar to my 9xxb recommended by JD Hilberry), no graphite shine so perfect for building up blacks layers. They are also blendable.

Great charcoal pencils
Great charcoal pencils. Can be sharpened to a 1.5" point to use as a charcoal pencil should be used. Smooth - great texture that will be appreciated by professionals.
