Useful lighting for a golf simulator without washing out the projection
We used this light in my husband’s golf simulator setup, mounting it on the ceiling and aiming it down at the hitting area. He needed enough light to see where he was striking the ball while keeping the room dark enough for a clear projected image. In our setup, it lights the hitting area without noticeably affecting the quality of the projection. That balance makes it useful for this purpose: he can see where he’s hitting, and the projector image stays clear. If you’re considering it for a golf simulator, this ceiling-mounted, downward-facing arrangement has worked well for us.
