The Number 1 cherry brandy
Beautiful stuff! So often you get cherry brandy and it can taste sickly or synthetic but this is De Kuyper, the real deal! Pros: Lovely juicy cherry taste with a hit of liquor alcohol. No synthetic or saccharine sweet taste, natural taste of cherries. Lovely as a short drink on its own, as a mixer in cola to make a grown-up cherry coke or with lemonade for a nice adult cherryade! Sounds awful but it works well. For the ultra decadent, a drizzle of this over cherries and whipped cream is delicious as a simple dessert. Also goes well in cherry trifle and added to ganache to make cherry truffles. Overall a very nice, high quality and versatile drink that is perfect in the winter when in need of a warning shot but also delicious in cooler drinks in the summer. It’s an essential in any drinks cupboard and excellent value for money. Cons: I genuinely can’t think of any. Absolutely lovely stuff 🥰
