Is this the Holy Grail of dish cloths? Not really, but getting there!!.
Agree with Sammie B., they do help cut down on the amount of dish washing liquid used as the cloths create more suds, and they are just a hair bigger than I would like. They are much better than I anticipated, very well made and plush yet not heavy cloths which actually absorb excess water unlike other ones I have tried, and can be wrung out to be almost dry. The scour side is not a gimmick, actually works much better than I imagined it would. Don't know yet about retention of odors or grease absorbed by the cloths as we just got them, but time will tell and if they develop odors and retain grease, I'll let you know. If they don't start smelling or absorbing grease, I will gladly buy more. Update Friday, July 17, 2015 - The cloths are great for washing dishes, and I like them better than thin cotton cloths. However, they still absorb odors like normal cotton cloths. I have already bought again knowing this, as I love the quality and scrubbing power of the netting on one side, and gentle but great cleaning of the regular (but heavy duty) cloth side. Just cleaned up a several months old ink jet cartridge spill on my PC desk, and the ink washed right out of the cloth with just regular dish washing liquid.

AWESOME!
Perfect! This is the ultimate dish-rag. Perfect size and genius cloth/mesh combination. After an initial wash, the micro fiber side is absorbent, color-fast, resists staining. The mesh side is perfect for scrubbing. After a day of cleaning, you too will begin to master the time-saving "wipe-flip-scrup-flip-wipe" method. I threw out all my old dish-rags and sponges (but I'm keeping a couple of good scrub brushes for cleaning off plates). Although I've already washed and dried them about a dozen times, I never dry any micro-fiber material on high-heat as they usually shrink excessively and loose absorbancy, so I don't know what high-heat dry would do to these. So great I bought another batch.

Nice dishcloth
These are very soft and clean well (materials stick well to the cloth and make clean up very easy). They hold soap well and are easy to rinse out. Since they're so soft, you have to get used to the "slippery" feel when cleaning (easy to lose if you aren't holding tight). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they are a bit hard to fully squeeze out all the water and leave a bit of water on the surface when cleaning. Not too bad, but enough to notice (although still a minor issue). Overall, a very nice cloth that cleans very well.

Machine washable wins hands down
Oh, there's various ways to disinfect a sponge: In the microwave, in a boiling pot of vinegar water, or even in the dishwasher. But once they start to wear, I can never remember how recently a sponge was disinfected, and if there's one thing I've learned from Alton Brown, it's that you don't want to wipe your counter with a bacteria-infested sponge. With hygeine in mind, I've switched in recent years to using Clorox wipes or a fresh cloth with bleach solution on my counters - never a sponge. Now I'm weaning myself off of sink sponges with these scour clothes, which are pretty ubiquitous in stores these days. The Ritz here seems pretty durable for the price, and they have to be as I am constantly cycling them through a wash load. Which is the whole point: they are easy launder to use fresh every day. It's true that they aren't much for the heavy duty scouring, but that 5-10% of my hand-washing items are the reason I still keep a scouring sponge. (That I do disinfect, but I don't worry so much about cross-contamination as it is ONLY for scouring the nasty stuff.) For less stubborn gunk, the poly scour side does fine, and then it gets pulled at day's end to be washed on HOT. Bye bye germs.

Ok for cleaning, not for washing dishes
I loved these at first for washing dishes. But then my husband said he noticed stuff was still on our glasses and he was right. When I changed cloths, we didn't have the issue anymore. I love that they hold the soap well, they dry quickly, don't stink, etc. But if they don't clean well, even with the scrub part, what's the point? So I use them for dusting and cleaning. Even after washing them, though, sometimes fibers are left on the surfaces. So maybe I need to wash them a few more times and then I'll be all set. But for now, I'm a little disappointed though I still use them.

Awesome!
These dish cloths are excellent for the kitchen. They dry great, have great durability, and excellent all-around quality. A single wash cloth lasts me two months of washing dishes before it starts to smell and needs to be washed in the clothes washer. They wash well in the clothes washer, all temperatures and settings, no problem. I was a little skeptical about paying some $2.50 per wash cloth, but once I got them, I was impressed with the bang I got for my buck. I used to use the disposable yellow-scrubby-pads, and I'm never going back, as these are far cheaper, last far longer, and far more economical. Have any doubts? Just get them and you'll be fully satisfied.

We cannot be happier with these towels
We cannot be happier with these towels. For years I've been using paper towels to clean my kitchen counter. Finally, a friend gave me enough of a hard time to be more environmentally responsible that I decided to get some towels for cleaning. Since I have a few microfiber kitchen hand towels already, I decided to go with microfiber for its superior absorbency over cotton. These dish towels have exceeded my expectations in many ways. They are smaller than the hand towels so they are easy to handle for cleaning jobs. They clean extremely well, saving a lot of elbow grease for scrubbing. They are super absorbent, and they dry super fast. They also come out nicely in the washing machine. All in all, these towels are everything kitchen utilities should be: easy to use, effective, easy to care for. Love them.
