are replacement covers available, if so from where as i cant see any and the manufacturers site is not helpful

You can buy the replacement covers from the manufacturer and they also sell them in other places such as Lake Land.

Does this have wheels? And does it have plastic brackets/hinges?

Yes to both. Mine arrived broken. I returned it and didn’t bother getting it replaced. Very expensive - I was disappointed with the quality. The shelf isn’t solid wood either but MDF covered in a plastic veneer. The top board was very padded and if I’d have kept it I would have put an extra layer on it.

Does steam drip through the surface of the board?

No - I have never noticed that. I'm very happy with this ironing board - it is a great purchase.

What weight will the pull out shelf take? My steam generator iron is heavy.

Mine s heavy too and it takes the weight well. It is very sturdy and I have not had any problems
