Petface Cooling Summer Dog Coat, 40 cm, Blue (Pack of 1)

We have two of these but forgot to take them on holiday with us. The temperatures were 34 degrees so we ordered these to keep in our caravan. They are perfect for keeping our dogs cool. Fit well (we have two large labs) and stay cool for several hours. Good quality by a good brand.

Works a treat my little dog ran behind the settee when I went to put it on her, so I left it awhile and tried again and she loves it no panting and temperature is 30 degrees compete success definitely recommend

Fantastic jacket Was recommended to me Our boxer really struggles in the heat but this is a life changer for him I put it on near end of his walk when he starts to struggle as I don't want to put it on straight away and risk it warming up and he being no better off It's still cold and its soft abd pliable not corse when I put it on and stays cold for at least and hour ( although these temps of 27°+ he only goes out early or late but still needs it He's not a fan of jackets but this one he's good with and seems to realise its helping him cool down I put it in the fridge in these hot temps but it doesn't really need it below 23° for our BadAss Boxer Can't recommend it enough it's worth every penny I carry it in a draw string bag havasack style you can buy cheap and folds away in ya pocket eay when jackets in use Hope this helps

This cooling coat is absolutely brilliant, stays cool for hours and really calmed my 5 month old puppy down during the extremely hot weather. The day before, without it, she was barking and a bit out of sorts from the heat, with it on, she was much calmer and cooler. Would definitely recommend! The reason I only gave 4 stars is because it appears to be getting mouldy already, probably just from being wet all day. So I would recommend letting it dry out a couple times during the day, rather than leaving it wet all day. Also extremely easy to put on and off... Overall a great product.

These are fantastic! One dog absolutely loves this, the other hates it but keeps it on (hates wearing anything and would rather be a baked potato in this heat!) love the measurement guide, fits exactly as it should. To give it the extra cool touch, put in the freezer for 5-10 mins and it stays cooler for longer. Wish I got them sooner!!

My dog hated having this on at first, but with the recent heatwaves (and her inability to realise sitting in the sun isn’t great for her!) this was an amazing purchase. I was recommended the product from a friend and it didn’t disappoint! Stays cool for ages, and my dog was mooching round the garden with me in the 30 degree heat and not even remotely bothered by the heat!

Initially great. Works well and immediately stopped my long haired dog from panting, during this summers heatwave. However after a couple of weeks of use the velcro straps no longer work. So back to a wet towel at the moment!. I love the concept and would pay more for something that is better made. So two stars for the concept and one star for a couple of trouble free weeks of use but now it's going in the bin !.

Delivered on time and as described. Good fit for my rottweiler with adjustable velcro straps making it easy to use. Soaking it for a few minutes in cold water gwave good absorbency making the coat soft and easy to fit, provided coolness for approx 2 hours in 30+ degree heat. My dog found it acceptable (no problems trying to get him to wear it).

Wir sind gerade in Südfrankreich. Jeden Tag haben wir hier Temperaturen über 32 Grad. Ich bin froh, dass wir die Decke gekauft habe.. Otto genießt die Abkühlung und kann auch Touren durchs Dorf ohne Überhitzung verpacken. Absolut top!!!

If you are spending time in a hot climate with your dog don’t question this, just buy it! You will have no regret! It is a fantastic product. Before this i was using a combination of other cooling methods, this is by far more effective and natural, removes the need for excessive air-conditioning and solves the challenge of dry warm evenings inhibiting exercise. I soak it in water and put it back in its plastic bag and into the fridge, when it is nice and cold i squeeze out the excess water so it is not dripping and close the velcro snug on the dog. Initially she was unimpressed, about 3 minutes later she realised how it is working for her and became completely comfortable in it. Now it is almost like chicken coming out of the fridge! It keeps her cool for about 5 hours (obviously in the shade) then it starts to become dry so just repeat the wetting process. You can test how effective it is, after a while just put your hand under the jacket, the body is completely cool. You will notice minimal panting, it removes the need for them to do this to cool themselves, the jacket removes heat from the body using evaporated cooling. Evenings in southern Spain in July it is often high 20’s or 30 degrees after sunset and the air is very dry, but with a fresh cold jacket longer exercise is no problem, it prevents overheating and dehydration, she is energetic for 5km no problem and longer with hydration and rewetting the jacket with a cold water bottle. After exercise especially just check the dogs body especially the shoulders and under the belly for any signs of rubbing or irritation. We have not experienced any problems. Follow the measurements from neck to tail in the chart, the sizing chart is accurate. For reference I got 60cm for her (she is slightly smaller than most huskies) The product arrives damp, this is intentional because if allowed to dry out completely it becomes like cardboard. When autumn arrives you can rinse it thoroughly and make sure it is clean and completely dry for storage until next summer. A very simple product that is a low cost natural and very effective cooling aid, a complete game changer for your dog. Just buy it. Your dog will thank you!

I bought 3 different cool coats for my 3 dogs with different body shapes. This one is my favorite material. It stays wet a long time. One of my other coats stays wet as long but it is so heavy that I think it has been bothering my dogs arthritis. This is nicely made. I have two complaint. The first is that it has velcro straps. I like the clips. The velcro eventually stops holding. Even now the velcro is coming apart a little. The second issue that the logo is so brightly colored that it takes away from the look of the coat. I don't care if they want their logo on it but make it the same color as the coat. You could see this logo color from space.

Completamente inutile. Bagnando anche all'interno, serve quanto una maglietta bagnata e fatta indossare al cane.
